Will we ever know how many of his past decisions were affected by his ADHD?
Getting someone like this off the bench now would be too soon. I understand that judges are human too, but we must be able to rely on them to be beyond reproach in the performance of their duties. |

Having siblings & myself,w/this disorder,I'll tell ya, they diagnos,ADHD,in early childhood.Grammar school.I've noticed that mad of the population, has a mental disorder,or mental health issues, after wrong doing, for worse crimes, like murder, etc. Its easier to lie about mental health, study it and perform it.Yes I know there are tests, but believe me,I know of people who brain washed themselves into believing they have a mental issue. These are the people I call a real mental case!

First a sex offender blames her sexual offense with a fourteen year old boy on being Bi-Polar and now a Judge blames his poor judgement on ADHD? Whats next? Bush is going to blame the war on male menopause? At least the sex offender married the boy. All of this judges cases should be reviewed by a judicial panel to discover if anyone else was wrongfully incarcerated. If we expect our polititions to be perfect then our judicial system should be more than perfect and almost god like in nature. People do make mistakes, but this is a travisty!

Adults suffer from ADD which Attention Deficit Disorder also. I'm not sure about the hyperactivity part, but I guess it is possible. Yes they do did to review his cases, if his judgment is impaired, then we need his past cases reviewed. |

how do they treat it in adults?Over here kids are given ritalin, which is amphetamine based, but somehow works in regards to concentration, and hyperactivity, but that's on kids.Do you know? |

Sounds like this guy has Borderline Personality Disorder not ADHD; rage fits then disassociation from them (like nothing even happened) and no apology for the obvious harm caused.
