New Delhi, April 26: Around 5.5 lakh patients in the country require dialysis or kidney transplant, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research.

It's disheartening to know that there are more kidney patients who need a kidney transplant than available donor kidneys. While patients may still receive treatment through dialysis, reports at http://www.dialysisinjuryhelpline.com/ show that some medications used in dialysis treatments may also cause a string of adverse effects including cardiac arrest.
