This report is very informative and useful. This can be part of the health education nurses can do to help their patients who may be suspected of having breast cancer.

I still don't get it. If blacks and whites belong to the same species, why do certain diseases affect blacks and others affect whites? I thought they shouldn't discriminate. Or is it coz whites and blacks have differing genetic codes?

Yep we do have a different biochemistry than whites. Also Everything in this country is set to white standards. For example vitamin d requirements are based on the levels whites need when we dnt need as much vit. D as they do. Etc. etc. And it causes more harm than good. Then factor in lifestyle and access to health care

Bingo! You hit the nail right on its head...its the different genetic codes.

In any form of medical research, samples are taken from different races to accertain its effects, so that those that do show vulnerability in such can be treated...or new ways to fight this desease can be developed.

You're very intelligent!
