Hey guys,

Just a quick qestion really about the DEPO SHOT..

The story is, i was having unprotected sex for about 4 months, i had a period about 3 & a half weeks ago, and last wednesday i went for the 'depo shot' but i told the woman, i was already on my period & there was no chance of pregnancy, maybe a stupid idea? im not sure.. So after the shot she said use contraception, which been stupid i never, so its been 7 days since the shot and i still havent started a period, could this mean im pregnant or am i better off waiting until my period due date which is sunday?

Yes, I have also heard that when you breastfeed your baby you will not get pregnant for the first six or was it 4 months. Although it might not be safe to use contraception while you are still nursing. @ Miss confused, I think you need to wait first. If your period doesn't come on Sunday then you can try and take the test to see if you are indeed pregnant or not.
