Beyond Premenstrual Syndrome
#1 Nov 9, 2012
It's good to know that medical researchers have found a treatment for PMDD through Zoloft. PMDD is a severe depressive form of PMS, and it may interfere with a woman's ability to function daily, to take care of herself or children, and even disrupt relationships. However, is there really a need for drug treatment for PMDD? There have been reports of adverse effects from Zoloft and some have even led to lawsuits. On the other hand, leaving PMDD untreated also poses its own risk to the patient and those around her. It's always best to weigh the benefits against the risks of Zoloft or any medication with a professional before starting drug treatment. I came across this article at http://www.zoloftlawsuitcenter.net/ssri-antid... that could be a good reference for people concerned and interested.
