Tracie's case is very striking. When a blood test detected excessively high levels of chromium and cobalt in her blood. The doctors found that the metal-on-metal joint replacement was rubbing and sending filings into her blood stream. This case such as Depuy Pinnacle hip replacement should be reconsidered a couple of times before finally deciding to under the surgery. Metal on metal hip replacement system still on the market and many individuals has been using though metal hip replacement complications and side effects has been reported. I had also read cases from www.rotlaw.com/depuy-pinnacle which many patients have been affected.

Tracie's condition is indeed horrifying but very common to a lot of patients who have undergone failed hip replacement surgeries. In fact there are thousands of lawsuits are now pending against hip implant manufacturers because of issues such as complications, infections, dislocations and worst metal poisoning brought about by hip implants, the metal-on-metal most especially. It is always advisable to contact your surgeon right away if problems occur to be treated immediately. www.hipreplacementlawsuitcenter.com

Most common side effects of metal-on-metal implants is metal poisoning that may lead to metallosis. When metal cup and metal stem rub together often due to continuous movements, metal particles on the surface may tend to wear off releasing metal ions that can be absorbed into the bloodstream. Once this happens, it causes swelling, pain and worst infection. That might be Tracie's case as well. Good that she was able to treat the problem immediately before it worsen. See the DePuy Recall News Center site.
