Full story: Newsday

A drug-resistant form of staph has become so prevalent it may cause more deaths than those attributed to HIV, and upstate doctors have identified a "superbug" linked to pediatric ear infections that repels all ...

-as a retired registered nurse from NY, I remember we, who worked in local hospitals, used to call tis a STAFF infection. It is totally preventable. If I were to go in the hospital for any reason, the staff would notforget me, as I would require everyone who touches me or my bed, to wash their hands before doing anything. If you are smart, you would do the same.
-whileI am at it..... if you have surgery, stay awake and have them put you under another general anesthesia known as a spinal block or local anesthesia, or no anesthesia or sleep medicatins for "procedures" Ie.: esophagoscopy, colonoscopy, etc.. You will recover quicker and know what they are doing to you. Doctor do not like that a patient is awake, but that is their problem. Please, do not make it yours.

to completely kill the bacteria from your body you must use any antibiotic as well as "BLEACH BATHS" to kill the now weakened infection. simply add a cup of bleach to a full tub of water and sit... rinse your head and all... then rinse in COLD water from the shower. Be sure to rinse very well... the Staph will then DISAPPEAR. Take a Bleach bath now 4 to 6 times a year to keep ANY new infections from arising... Keep regular hygiene and you will live happily ever after.(this cleanse system works for all kinds of bacteria NOT just staph)
*** the first thing you learn in the army is to "SHIT- SHAVE- SHOWER" every morning... this also makes perfect sense because you NEVER wear underwear AFTER a shit... if you are then you are the cause of this new MRSA outbreak!!! If you dig in YO nose while you drive and then shake hands all day at work then YOU are the CAUSE of this new MRSA outbreak!!!***

Well the best place to find out is obviously an anonymous internet forum largely populated with illiterate dysfunctional morons. Use your answers wisely.

Many drugs has their own side effect, some even be very serious. Especially those new drug. Most of them are premature. Their is a blog topic at STD personal site pozgroup.com focuses on side effect of those STD drugs, but I can not remember the subject. If you are interested, you may try to search it out.

ANY antibiotic will not weaken MRSA- Hence the name resistant. Bleach bath, are you for real???
I am an R.N. & do not have my finger in my nose & shake hands all day long. I take care of elderly persons & DO wear gloves & wash hands. Problem is- you can never be sure of who touched what before you. It takes EVERYONE to do their jobs correctly to prevent spread of bacteria. If I am taking all precautions & housekeeping is not doing there job- Then somewhere there is going to be a problem. We have had at least 6 reports of nosocomial MRSA in my building. MRSA is not an everyday staff infection that is treated by just ANY antibiotic.

1. The "M" in MRSA stands for Methicillin. There are OTHER antibiotics that treat MRSA. If you were indeed an RN, I would hope you'd know that.
2. Bleach baths are emerging as a standard of care -- around the world -- for recurrent MRSA infections. Again, you ought to know that.
3. An actual RN would know how to spell Staph -- see, there's an "H" on the end.

OKAY EINSTEIN! So I miss spelled STAPH. Lets see you explain away the MRSA infections that are only responding to bactrim & Vancomycin. I did not say that it would not respond to any treatment- it is just resistant to MANY antibiotics- not just Methicillin as YOU would like people to think. Also, as for your bleach bath theory, Do you expect persons with respiratory MRSA to snort, inhale or perhaps drink bleach water? I would definitely hate to see what your treatment would be for MRSA of the urine- OUCH!- or are you going to insist that condition doesn't exist??? Talk about ignorant liars. Seems someone needs to do a bit more research before they call themselves a pro on the subject & it ain't me!
