These new hip implant devices designed for the younger ones look promising. However, these devices may have serious side-effects to offer such as inflammation, hip dislocations, and if it is a metal-on-metal hip implant, you may suffer from metal toxicity. Either this could solve the problems of numerous young people who require hip replacement, or it could make things worse. If the new generation hip devices are similar in design with previous metal-on-metal hip systems, then similar problems will most likely arise. I've read from http://www.rotlaw.com/hip-replacement-lawsuit... that metal toxicity is one of the potential side effects associated with all-metal hip devices. If this is the case, then there is a chance that hip implant patients will suffer worse things after surgery.
