kile;

I wish you all the luck one can give. I have been clean now for 16 days. I went thru detox and this saved my life. I to was very addicted to pain killers (well I still am addicted just not using). The doctor prescribed me a drug called suboxone. It is a wonder drug as you barley have any physical withdraw from coming off of the pills. It also contains a blocker to stop you from being able to get high off of any opiate. If you can get to a doctor for help I suggest this highly. I am a full blown addict and didn't even realize it till just recently. Now I go to NA meetings everyday and it helps alot. Good luck and I will pray for you.

Kile, i did the same as u but i abused for about 6 years, put it this way i would take 6-7 lortab 10s 3 1/2 somas and half a xany bar all at once, then drive home with no problem, did this 5-6 times a day, sometimes more, oh and not to mention all the oxys and roxis i would snort. About a year ago i decied it was too expensive of a habit, and i was going to die or kill someone else if i didnt stop, so i did, cold turkey for 3 days...thats what almost killed me, so i found a doctor, found someone to drive me to the doctor(couldnt even drive let alone stand)and got prescribed subutex-(suboxone.)and for as long as i was addicted i thought this was a crock of shit that i would have no withdrawls! no way it would work! but by god it did! after about an hour after dissolving the first dose (u gotta put it under your tounge)i felt so much better, u take it for two weeks, and gradually dose down! try it if you got the cash. good luck and if u need some help...u should find away to go to meetings also...u think a bunch of people with same problem as yourself and then talking about it for 2 hours would make u want to go home an O.D. on a bottle of oxys..but actually it works..its liberating. oh and people close to you will know whats up, trust me, tell the truth..it will set you free.
