Hip replacement surgeries are expensive and many are not able to afford it. There is also a possibility that the implant may fail and may need a revision to correct it. This surgery is needed to correct joint pain but there are also problems after it. http://www.depuypinnaclelawsuit.com/total-hip...

When you have a bad hip, whether is due to injury or congenital defect or just flat worn out w/age you have little choice for treatment. You either get it fixed or you live your life pretty much immobile and in pain with others caring for you. People should be pretty darn grateful that these issues can even be addressed. In earlier times people simply succumbed to their illness. Modern medicine isn't perfect but I sure wouldn't want to go back to the times before implants became available. Some patients will have continued issues even with modern medicine but more get relief that wouldn't have been possible years ago.

Just curious are you folks paid to go around posting these lawsuit commentaries?

Well,Susan. I believe you have made a point there.
Well, my take is we definitely are in a better position than we were from caveman times. But the fact remains, there are people who suffer from these implants. And that should not stop us from improving our devices. My uncle is constantly in pain due to metallosis. i thank these comapnies for making the hip replacement but I sure do think they can make a better job out of it. My uncle got a DePuy. for data please check: http://www.depuypinnaclelawsuit.com/total-hip ...
