Deadly new infection hits native communities: Researchers

A deadly bacterial infection once linked to deadly meningitis and pneumonia has spawned a new strain, this time affecting mostly First Nations people, and researchers are trying to understand why before it gets out of control.

Yes! Its true. My Nephew from the mine was sick with it. He has been off work for almost two months. The doctors are making sure the infection does not jump into the Caucasian miners that he works for up there in Muzzelwhite Mines near Pickerel Lake, Ontario.

Ya! He was really sick in his lungs.

I wonder what triggered this new type of lung infection. Its mostly water in the lungs.

My nephew is native Canadian and lives in a bush camp as he works the Musselwhite mine schedules as a miner. However, he had lung infection that he says was painful and like his lungs where full of fluids. The doctors will not allow him to mingle as yet with the Caucasian miners up there. Poor man he was sick and maybe he was trying to get me infected.
My advise is that the lung infection is deadly and should be looked after if something is different. Bravo!

I have a half Native who lives in unit 14 at 130 Gibbon Street who's Alzheimer has doubled in size and is using new sounds to try and knock us out in our unit. He is Stanley Jack Baxter. He is getting sick and no one wants to help him. He really believes we are teasing him. He has two friends one a male White and a Native woman. They are not helping him. I wish someone would take him to a facility where he would get the help he needs.
