So true, when referring to "fad diets"... the word DIE is in there for a reason. If people are using B12 solely to lose weight while not doing THEIR PART of changing their caloric intake, exercising and drinking enough water to flush out the fat... then the results are going to be minimal.
But please don't chunk B12 Injections itself into the catch-all phrase of a "Fad Diet". B12 provides the body with the vitamins it needs to increase energy so that you CAN get up and be active and as a result, burn calories. B12 also has many other health benefits, that you really need to research as well.

I am in the Clearwater/Tampa area. I came across the Transformations clinic in Brandon. I have read many reviews and am strongly considering the hCG injections to jump start my weight loss (along with proper eating and exercise). I have 45lbs to loose and with polycystic ovarian syndrome, loosing is much more difficult. Have any of you from the Tampa area heard of Transformations? Are the B12 injections a better option?

I was just wondering... since you have PCOS, will the HCG shots make that even worse, since they are in fact a hormone? I know hormones play such a huge part in diseases like that and Thyroid problems... so I was wondering if you've found anything that says it would be safe to use??
That was one of the biggest reasons that I went with the B12 Lipotropics for weightloss instead...

I am not an expert, but I researched the b12/lipotropics and the HCG. From what I understand the HCG helps to mobolize fat tremndously. That in studies where HCG and a control groups was used, weight loss on a very low calorie diet wasn't different between the groups, but fat loss was remarkably different.
The b12/lipo is to help fire up metabolism and sustain energy. The diet is not nearly as restrictive as the HCG.

That's my two cents worth, but I'm not an authority by any stretch.
