Incorrect, fool. That was Bush.

Obama's "spending" has been to repair Bush's massive economic damage to the economy... To get Ameicans back to work. You deny that, but you are lying.

However, Obama's spending will actual;ly commemnce in 2014, with the rolling out of "Obamacare."

So, come back next year.

What policies did Bush pass without approval from congress that caused the recession, bullshit artist? You've never answered that one.

Nobumer is repairing shit the Bush caused....that massive economic damage was caused by demorat policies.

The root of the problem is the Community Reinvestment Act, which forced banks to give loans to people who were unlikely to repay them.

Democrats blocked all attempts to reign in these lending practices after gaining control of congress and the problems began to appear.

Double whammy, cause the problem.. then prevent it from being dealt with. And the real kicker.. Democrats continue to protect these policies even though they're certain to continue causing the same problems.

And so we'll continue to let people use welfare, unemployment and food stamps as "proof of income" when getting loans and will be unable to turn down their application.
was the result of the final repeal of the Glass Steagall Act when Clinton was president. Both parties were in favor of it and both parties were warned what would happen. The Republicans did try to get Congress to look at what was going on and even had hearings about Freddie and Fannie cooking the books. The Democrats (Barney Frank) said everything was fine right up to July of 2008. Even though some realized this was going to crash, I don't think either party imagined the magnitude of it.

History is proving beyond a doubt that the dems were the main caused of the recession.

And now...nobummer is pushing for low cost interest housing loans again.......DUH democrats....let's keep making the same mistakes and see if we can get a different outcome. LMAO

What policies did Bush enact without approval of congress that caused the recession..........an answer would show you might have a tad of intelligence other than "uh, Bush's fault!"

Tax cut for the rich.(Congress went along)

The Iraq war.
(And Congress did not approve attack, and war on Iraq. iIt voted to support Bush in his posturing with Sadam Hussain, to show Iraq the USA was united in purpose. Bush sprang that Pearl Harbor attack on Baghdad all on his own without consulting the Congress.)
Once boots wereon the ground, Congress was forced to support the troops. But the Iraq war was Bush's folly alone.

Afghanistan was jointly wanted by Congress and the White House; but Bush abandoned it to doubled down on Iraq.
With no tax increase to pay for the war.

The abandonment of financial regulation.

You are correct in that neither party knew the magnitude of it; because much of the fiscal casino hijinks went unwatched, unregulated, unreported.

The main cause of the crash was the credit crunch.
Th emain cause of the credit crunch was failure to regulate.

And I'm not saying no blame on either party; but I am saying Bush bears the greatest blame, by far.

And, blame Bush, Newt, or Barney Frank; Prsident Obama's debt has largely gone to repairing the economy. No lie.

You are wrong also about the Community reinvestment act. That phony story is a FOXLIES lie.(Like "Black Panthers" stopping people from voting, a lie based on racism.)
The rate of default in formerly REDLINED neighborhoods was comperable to other neighborhood's loans. Verify that.
Don't fall for that bald lie. It demeans your mental ability.

Rather, read up on non-bank mortgage loan failures (mortgage stores).
They were the prime 'mortgage component' in the credit crunch failure.
