I wonder if you still think they will be winners when businesses decide it will be cheaper to pay the penalty and let their employees deal with coming up with the 600 dollars a month it costs for the average insurance policy. But wait when all those people say oh hey I can't afford this, then they have to come up with the money to pay "tax". Yeah great victory.

Does this mean that the millions of illegals will finally have to buy health insurance?

John Roberts is brilliant. He has helpped rule Obamacare Constitutional only if it is considered a huge tax in an election year, he has made it front, and center for th election. And Romney has said he will repeal it on day one of his first term as President. Considering the American people hate it they will vote for Romney just to get it repealed. I couldn't have done it better myself. Good bye Mr President!!!

This doesn't help the uninsured. It punishes/taxes them.

DUDE!... don't you think before you speak?

IF small or large employers decide to send their employees into the health insurance exchanges

a. that employer will pay a penalty that would not be as much as their share of the health insurance premiums, the employer will no longer have to spend hours and days of time with health insurance negotiations, communications, etc, and will therefore have MORE money and more TIME to spend on building the BUSINESS that allows them to HIRE more employees! THAT IS A WIN FOR BUSINESS GROWTH?

b. those employees will have the opportunity to purchase a policy on the exchange that better suits their family, RATHER than being forced to accept the plan that the employer selects. That is a WIN FOR LIBERTY!

THAT IS CALLED WIN/WIN!

The law does not include undocumented.

Churches, temples, and mosques should be teaming up to cover health care of undocumented families ... correct?...

unless their are false witnesses to a loving God/Yahweh/Allah ... correct?

Romney looked Presidential when he declared he will repeal Obamacare on the first day of his first term as President. Within hours after Romney made that statement his campaign recieved over $2,000,000. Since 56% of Americans want it repealed I am sure enough will vote for Romney to get it done. It is the largest tax increase in History. It cuts Granny care by $500,000,000,000. Yep 500 billion dollars. Poor Granny. No more free care for the illegal aliens. It is better then we could have ever dreamed

I was for it before I was against it. I have no real thoughts or beliefs. I change my opinion(s) according to how much the lobbyists and large donors are willing to give me. I love money and status.

Vote for Romney! Everything Is On Sale!!

Mitt can "promise" to repeal any act he wants, but the fact remains that that is not part of presidential power. The legislature can repeal legislation and we've all seen how effective Congress is.

I'd rather keep a president who actually knows how to read the Constitution, and doesn't make millions outsourcing jobs.

All of this presumes that the employer will have the business sales/contracts and the capitol to hire. The rest is simply a claim that paying less is automatcally easy--as if less meant zero, which it soes not.

A win for liberty? Everone is forced to choose one or the other. That is not liberty.

Great news, one step closer to a single payer, a small step but a step non the less. Let the insurance companies and all those who begrudge their own neighbors health care eat........

By undocumented do you mean those that committed a felony to enter this country illegally? If you are going to make excuses for the (in actuality) 30 or 40 million that have successfully slithered in here then, why yes, let the so called "god fearers" ante up to pay for their twisted idea of social overcompensation.

If a "god fearing" American should ever slime his way into Mexico do you think he will have free health care, a college education, food stamps, housing and all the rest offered to him? Nope, just prison. Central American countries, unlike the ditsy US, realize that illegals put a country on a fast track to a declining standard of living for those that happen to be citizens.

Loving Gods didn't write much about countries going bankrupt.

So you would rather keep a president who has bailed out the banks and auto industry at our expense, with most of the auto bailout money going to overseas manufacturers and you would rather keep a president who has gotten us to 16 trillion dollar in debt that our children and grandchildren can never repay? Did you know that because of his borrowing that China now owns 40% of America. Are you aware that he invested a large amount of the bailout money in green energy like Solendra which is now bankrupt. Did you know that billions of dollars are going overseas to support countries that would just as soon that America did not exist. And his personal family has spent a fortune in vacations and flying around the country, while he plays golf 216 times. Think about it---How much time has he spent in Washington minding our business. He has been campaigning for the second term ever since he got in office, and these are just a few of the things he has done wrong since taking office. There are many more.
I do hope that you will be happy when your health care cost skyrocket and you will no longer be able to afford it. You will be taxed to death for not having insurance while every illegal on earth will now be coming to our borders just so the middle class Americans can take care of them because we will still be providing medicaid for them. Since that comes out of my paycheck, don't you think maybe this is double taxation?

So people, who do you think will actually end up paying for all this? Corporate America? Billionaire Wall Street and Hollywood types that are media darlings? The illegals and SSDI leeches? Look in the mirror and ask yourself how much liberalism you can really afford as an average working person. There is no such thing as a free lunch so WHO will pay for this new LAW? It won't be the CTS bus riders that beg money while they ride the bus stop benches at Pantops and the other malls. Whatever the shortfall will actually turn out to be YOU will be making the difference up through a variey of government tricks like taxes, surcharges and higher prices. Cut through the political rhetoric and bogus religious hype and get down to those that pay the money instead of blathering.

I would rather have a President that has actually done business, not been some kind of neighborhood rabble rouser. The more Americans discover about their foreign President the less they approve of him, and his antics. He made history today. He got passed the largest tax increase in our history, and pretended it was something else. It took John Roberts to explain it to him.

I would rather have a President who has a family that does not travel to places that cost us taypayers thousands to get there. Why don't they put up the money to pay for the illegals who the hard working American people will pay for because they will be getting free care in hospitals, have babies we will pay to deliver and then go on welfare that the American hard working people will pay for to.

Hope you all are happy this is going to be a gigantic hot mess!
We just cannot afford to subsidize everyone who is uninsured especially since those numbers have increased exponentially in the last few years since so many have lost their jobs. Would it not make more sense to provide tax incentives to businesses that can hire more people and provide insurance better and cheaper then our bureaucracy bloated Government?
Of course I'm not naive I can already hear the liberal response to this,(Blah Blah Blah, Bush, Blah Blah) but I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out.
I'm betting on Hot Mess for the win.

This law, by the legislators` admission, is so complex, it is akin to throwing the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle out to the public, and saying"There it is, deal with it".

There will be a new surprise daily.
