The term "whiplash" was first used in 1928 to define an injury mechanism of sudden hyperextension followed by an immediate hyperflexion of the neck that results in damage to the muscles, ligaments and tendons - especially those that support the head.

had l5s1fusion through my front side. It is hard to explain but the pressure on the discs above where the fusion was is so intense. I swim use teeter invasion.
What I fear is that there is scar tissue in my spine now and that the compound that the age system was made of causes all sorts of side affects
what should I do by the way surgery was in2003

Have you tried calling a chiropractor who does spinal decompression? It's not invasive and it's often paired with other therapies that can reduce inflammation. One therapy they use with spinal decompresion is cold laser therapy which can reduce the pain and inflammation without drugs. I've had great success with that in my clinic.
Most chiropractors who use spinal decompression are excellent. It should be easy to find one in your area. Possibly look on Yelp for reviews.

"cold laser"? ha ha ha Only used by quacks.

Those chiroquacks use the same "cold laser" to "cure" allergies. There are even chiropractor quacks who make bizarre claims that she " can cure deep wounds' with the "cold laser". Matter of fact, the clam was made by the quack above. Think you can trust them now?

Dan, see a board certified physiatrist. He's a medical doctor who specializes in physical medicine. They have all the modalities at their disposal. Including excellent medical training.

Here's the latest on wisdom's lies and hypocrisy:
In another post wisdom took great offense (he he I just have struck a truthful nerve!) and made a valiant attempt to defend himself when I called him out on being a failure in practice, which he was. He said so himself.
You won't believe this, but wisdom said 'I did just fine in practice, thank you. I practiced chiropractic ethically with sound treatment plans and techniques."
Fine.
Now--same breath extending the sentence. Wisdom, after stating he practice chiropractic ethically he then said there are no chiropractic techniques that work for anything. Stunning!
So which one is it? Let's see, is it practicing ethically with sound chiropractic techniques and treatment methods, or there are no chiropractic techniques that work and never did?
I know. What about the third choice: wisdom simply failed in practice and is jealous as hell of successful chiropractors--thus his constant bashing of chiropractic. Nothing but anger, bitterness, and sour grapes.
Oh, and don't believe that bunk that wisdom is now an MD who is 'head of neurosurgery at a famous NY hospital.' All lies. Then again, you knew that.

ha ha Indeed, you are a chiropractor.

So happy I left the field many years ago.

No "chiropractic" technique is good for anything. NONE, not activator, not gonstead, not nucca, not sot etc etc..

Now follow this. I gained additional training which allowed me to use evidenced based methods like physiotherapy and generic manipulation to treat people with simple low back pain. Period.

Unlike you mr. quack, I did not resort to claiming that I could cure adhd, sleep disorders and deep wounds.

Now, I am perfectly happy in medicine....... and you are mired in quackery. So, continue to defend your bizarre chiropractic techniques like activator and nucca. It is a bizarre world in which you live, not to mention a highly unethical one. So sad.
