The study does not seem very thorough. It's not "smoking" so much as a lot of the non-tobacco industrial adulterants of most cigarettes that are already known to reduce sperm counts, cause cardio-vascular problems, endocrine disruption, hormonal problems, and any number of diseases.
If the researchers overlooked the pesticide residues in most cigarettes, and the dioxins from the chlorine pesticides and chlorine bleached paper, they overlooked an industrial substance proven to cause the symptoms the researchers blame on "smoking"...the behavior of unprotected, insufficiently-warned people.

Dioxin-Delivering, Chlorine-Contaminated cigarettes may cause, or certainly cause, those symptoms. Not even the "sinful" tobacco plant is capable of those symptoms.

It is not ethical to blame victims...though that consequence is certainly kind, undeservedly kind, to those in industry and in government responsible for the contamination of tobacco products.

Quitting smoking is a much HEALTHIER way to increase the positives of companionship. Enhancement products on the market can cause long-term usage health impairment and cellular structure damage which makes the original incentive worse than the forethought.
There are positives to encouraging people to be 'natural'. Some people have come to refuse to Respect businesses who provide products on the shelf; lubricants and pleasure stimulants and will become Publicly persuasive in the near future, as the contract negotiation agreements of other products have been being pulled and stopped.

How are the disease fighting measures against the nuisances which enter through nasal cavities faring? Still receiving shipments of cigarettes? While many see only the negative side affects of choices some people make, many understand the reasons why people accept an option to attempt to improve their health.

The study is flawed. It's Bogus science, propaganda and horse-crap.
Stop smoking does improve your overall health but it has nothing to do with sex at all.
The purpose of stop smoking is centered on the sale of anti-smoking drugs. Chantix, a mind drug has more political reason then profits for the sale of it's toxic chemical formula. Think Mind control. It is part of the 22 mind drugs that the public is taking for a host of made to order illnesses. It further disrupts the society which is needed in any coup d'etat. The New World Order is no exception.

Nicotine slows down the release of hormones of the anatomy, therefore yes it does affect the bodies function.

Smoking is linked to increased erectile dysfunction in the very least. You talk of profits from anti-smoking drugs, yet fail to mention how much the tobacco industry makes from killing people, an industry that has been with the 'power people' since its world-wide exposure. I still cannot understand any intelligent person taking up a habit that can kill them in nasty ways. That alone should be enough to give it up but even then tobacco's addicts defend the stinky weed.

Any perceived side effects or social manipulation by big pharma and its anti-smoking drugs, are insignificant compared too the real harm that smoking has done and is doing to people.

You also seem to forget that the tax take by most countries is a very nice earner for government and administration. So in tobacco we have companies making huge sums of money and Governments making huge sums of money, why do you think governments have been very resistant to changes in tobacco use laws? It should have been banned years ago, can you imagine a company today making a product that actually kills it's users, in nasty horrible ways, and getting away with selling it?

You smoke if you want but I have a working brain.

Tobacco is a dirty weed, I like it.
It makes you thin, it makes you lean,
It takes the hair right off your bean,
It's the worst damn stuff I've ever seen.
I LIKE IT!
Not by me, but still true after all these years. It's yet another example of the irrationality of people.

Erectile dysfunction is related to the pharmacutical mind drugs. Ask any person using the drugs.

Sounds as if you speak from experience! lol

HS I think its great that you smokers seem to ignore ANY valid, credible, and justifiable argument that goes against your filthy vile and toxic habit, but yet your side will embrace the information being fed to you by any half-baked whack job website or person that spews nonsense!

We all know how ridiculously stupid it is to burn and ingest chemically laced tobacco leaves, which really is a no-brainer, but to negate valid research just because it adds yet another straw to the camels back when it comes to the overwhelming evidence of why smoking should continue to face strict restrictions, is just plain pathetic!

what are your views on REAL tobacco not philip morris poison? I would never use that rubbish. the tobacco I use is grown locally with no chemicals and probably not to the average smokers tastes. tobacco companies should really be ashamed of themselves, not the smokers.

Well first of all let me say that I am not a doctor but I am a man and for awhile when i was overweight I had high blood pressure. The medication that I was taking definitely affected my erection capability. After changing my habits, and losing weight my blood pressure was back to normal and I was able to quit taking BP medication. Erections returned but were not as powerful as when I was younger. A friend referred me to a nature meds site http://newmaletreatment.info and I discovered ED products that really blew me away. Talk about a raging hard-on. Anyway, I think if you are having problems you should see a specialist first.

The toxins that build up in your system contribute to feelings of lethargy. But instantly, after just one cigarette, the body's ability to function decreases, which means erections can be a problem. It also affects libido and general desire, as smoking massively effects the hormonal balance, and testosterone levels are responsible for libido.
Smoking long term damages the blood vessels and moderate arterial insufficiency is a precondition for most impotence. Once this state is reached, impotence may persist as long as smoking continues, and may persist despite quitting if the vascular damage is severe.
Nicotine is, however a vasoconstrictor, which means it narrows the blood vessels. Theoretically at least, this should reduce men's ability to have sex, and would even reduce arousal in a women.
Tobacco can ruin a woman's sex life. There is evidence that smoking can interfere with a woman's orgiastic ability. Nicotine can damage ovaries, causing menstrual and ovulatory abnormalities, and decrease estrogen production. It can also lead to early menopause and other signs of aging such as lessened lubrication in the vagina.
That's all I know from google..
Is anything more you guys know??Please share with me..

I have used http://goodgeneric.com for about 3 years and find their products to be reliable and speedily delivered. The Support team are very promt and helpful in solving any issues that arise, caused by my errors not the company's. I was a little sceptical initially about buying generic products rather than brand names. However, the Mens' Health products I have bought have been equally as efficatious as the brand names at a fraction of the cost.
