There are many studies pointing to the negative effects of metal-on-metal hip replacements. Thus, some of the manufacturers have already recalled their device. However, there are still some designs that are made available in the market in which those who are unaware of the possible outcomes may have agreed to have it inserted inside them.

Series of harmful effects arise from hip replacement procedures. There are already lawsuits filed against some of the manufacturers. If you want to know more, visit http://stryker-hip-replacement-recall.com

Alongside the benefits are adverse effects that may come with various treatments. While there is a risk of complications after a hip surgery, it is daunting to know that a patient may be made susceptible to potentially life-threatening health consequences such as stroke as has been demonstrated by the study. In addition, some hip implants also have the tendency to fail earlier than expected causing more injuries to some recipients. It helps to know more about these devices prior to submitting to surgery. There is information at http://www.depuyhiprecall.us/am-i-affected/ that may benefit those who wish to learn more about the potential risks tied to hip devices.

Lower limb surgery often puts the patient at risk of stroke because of the possibility of blood clots. Blood clots may travel to the brain or the lungs which may impede blood flow. When a blood clot is logged in the small blood vessels in the brain it could lead to stroke. http://www.depuypinnaclelawsuit.com/types-of-...
