can Wellbutrin intensify the effects of alcohol
I had a few drinks one evening and woke up at home with 2 tickets for disorderly conduct and i had no ideal how i got home.
my car thankfully was still parked in town.
when i looked at my Wellbutrin bottle i noticed that it said do not drink alcohol while taking this medication
so could it have contributed to the severe drunkiness and blackout ?

Actually from what I know about Wellbutrin it actually lessens the affects of alcohol.
From what you describe sounds like the actions of someone on Benzodiazapines like Valium etc..
Are you any other meds like that! I was and did LOADS of weird things like that and woke up the next day not remembering a thing (normally in the police cells)
Best advise check your other meds and try not to go on the piss with pills in your belly :)

I have ordered prescription drugs (without a prescription) online from http://inhousegeneric.info about two years ago, and was pleased with the speed and quality of service.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my medication. The meds is expensive, but there is a generic version available overseas.
I love the idea of taking responsibility for my own health (or lack of health) and skipping the bureaucracy... to say nothing of having to drive to the doctor, wait in line, yet again, to get a prescription refilled.

http://inhousegeneric.info very clear and informative site, simple ordering process and very fast delivery. All round excellent service - will use again.

Naturally, I am skeptical of everything online. http://inhousegeneric.com is legitimate. I placed my first order for the smallest amount possible. It arrived sooner than expected. I didn't pay the extra money for speedy air mail. I placed another order that was much larger and it came right on time. I will definitely use this company again for even larger orders now that I trust them. They also give you discounts every time you place an order which is cool. One thing to keep in mind is if you place a larger order, they will send half in one shipment, and then the other half after that to avoid customs scrutinizing your package. I am very happy, I no longer need to pay tons of money to see a doctor and therapist (and have them tell me a bunch of stuff I already know) in order to get my medication.

The problem with prescription-induced insomnia is that additional prescriptions to manage the sleeplessness may not combine well with the prescriptions that are causing the problem. Quite a nasty little cycle.

I got stuck in this exact position due to some meds I had to take a few years back. My insomnia was terrible, and I spent my days walking around like a zombie. It was miserable.

I started researching natural alternatives to RX sleep meds, and tried melatonin, Nux Vomica, valerian, and various herbal teas. None of them really made an appreciable difference.

I finally went to see a naturopath, who sent me to http://naturalsleepformula.net to check out their whole food based sleep supplement. I bought it, and was pleasantly surprised. I fell asleep faster, and did not suffer the early waking that I had been stuck with before.

In addition to the supplement, my naturopath suggested a stringent sleep routine:

bed only for sleep and sex
warm shower or bath before bed
warm milk or herbal tea
guided meditation for sleep
cotton (or no) pj's
100% cotton sheets
white noise machine

I'm happy to say that I'm off the meds that caused the problem now, but I still follow the same routine and take the same sleep supplement. It is just too good of a combo to abandon.

Good luck to you!

I've been on Effexor from http://goo.gl/TRCx1y only one week but am cautiously very optimistic. Prior to this I was on citalopram but still feeling very low and sleeping poorly, feeling like I needed to be in bed 12-16 hours a day. Now I am waking naturally after only 8 hours sleep and finding it much easier to concentrate at work. I can hardly believe it is working so quickly but I feel so much better. I've had no side effects.
