Walks for mental health

PEOPLE are being advised to put their best foot forward to help relive the symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression.
Probably since human beings appeared on Earth they have been sorting through emotional difficulties and hard-to-solve problems while
on walks. The sunlight, fresh air, and perhaps beautiful scenery add to the movements and breath that give someone an opportunity to feel unfelt emotions and examine their thoughts.
Perhaps too the much wider expanse of the outside
world makes our diffculties appear smaller and less significant. We get a sense of control over at least one part of our world--we are active an exercising. The depressed and anxious recognize this as they struggle to stay active. Exercise changes our brain chemistry after 20 minutes and our brains. while walking, experience difficulties as more acceptable or okay. We may get sudden emotional insights into what's going on in our lives.

I really like the idea of taking a walk. I have fibromyalgia and sometimes I can't get around...hey, that's just an excuse. I'm looking for informatiion on gastritis, ulcers and colitis and how they interact with stress.
