Yes. Obama forgot the word "group". How scandalous. If he only said "nobody with a group policy will change insurance" then all would be fine.
It could be worse though. Not too long ago we had a president who led us into a disastrous war looking for weapons of mass destruction. Thousands of Americans and more than one hundred thousand Iraqis died. Everyone was OK with that though because we all make mistakes.
If he only said,,,,LOL

Liberals find themselves constantly having to re-interpret what the genius Oblamer meant to say.

If Oblamer-care is so great, why does it have to be enforced?
If I could get better coverage on my car insurance for half the cost I'd be running to change my policy,no one would have to tell me I'd get taxed if I didn't participate.

You better consider a name change. Maybe "Badly misinformed" would be better.

3.5 million people? That is priceless. The law does not even take effect until January and not a single person is losing their policy.
They merely sent out letters saying that some policies had been upgraded and the name of the policy was changed. Big deal.

Gosh, BottleQueen: you have already told us you use multiple aliases daily to make it harder for Topix to delete your posts.

Go to Topix: they already have my name and number and all you have to do is ask them if I have EVER posted under another alias, they can delete my account.

That's if I EVER.

Putting aside it isn't (sadly) against their terms and conditions.

Wipe your chin, BottleQueen, you still have lots of last night on your chin.

If you could get your license back, maybe you could get a better deal on your car insurance.

Those SR-22 filings aren't going to help tho.

While the Affordable Care Act was making its way through Congress in 2009 and 2010, President Obama famously promised the American people over and over again that if you like your health plan, you can keep it.

“Let me be exactly clear about what health care reform means to you,” Obama said at one rally in July 2009.“First of all, if you’ve got health insurance, you like your doctors, you like your plan, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan. Nobody is talking about taking that away from you.”

But the president's promise is turning out to be false for millions of Americans who have had their health insurance policies canceled because they don't meet the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.

According to health policy expert Bob Laszewski, roughly 16 million Americans will lose their current plans because of Obamacare:

You wouldn't know how to open the envelope, Skanque.

Five percent of the insurance policies don't meet the minimum qualifications.

That's one out of twenty.

And in every state- make that 49 out of 50, I think, to drive a car on a public street you have to have insurance that meets a MINIMUM criteria, e.g.,$50,000 liability.

If your insurance company cannot met this liability, guess what is going to happen to your insurance?

The border to Canada is still open.

Maybe Cruz will let you stay at his place?

I've seen the letters too. I received one and it was wonderful.

They did say my policy was being upgraded and they changed the name. That's it. A name change.

They gave me two options. One was to do absolutely nothing at all. In that case I would automatically be rolled into the new upgraded policy and I would even receive a premium reduction.

The second option was to go on the exchanges. I did and cut my bill in half.

It does not get much easier than that.

Arrogant prick, pay attention. This is from your beloved water carrier, MSNBC.

The NBC News investigations unit is reporting that “50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a ‘cancellation’ letter or the equivalent over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law”— a fact administration officials knew but kept from the public.

The cancellations are a result of so-called grandfather rules promulgated by President Obama’s Health and Human Services. The rule exempts health insurance plans in existence before March 23, 2010 — the day the Affordable Care Act became law — from many of the new regulations, benefits standards and consumer protections that new plans now have to abide by, but says that policies could lose their designation if they make major changes. From NBC:

Buried in Obamacare regulations from July 2010 is an estimate that because of normal turnover in the individual insurance market,“40 to 67 percent” of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And because many policies will have been changed since the key date,“the percentage of individual market policies losing grandfather status in a given year exceeds the 40 to 67 percent range.”

He lied when he said you can keep your health plan if you like it. He lied when he promised your premiums would come down $2,500. He waived the employer mandate for a year but in January, pay the fine or buy an approved plan. Sucker.

He said the rates would go down by $2,500 a year?

I doubt anybody said that, but it is certainly not accurate. My rates are going down by $20,400 a year.

Yep. Receiving that "cancellation notice" from my insurance company sure was a burden. I was going to buy a BMW with the savings, but now I am considering a Jaguar. How dare Obama stick me with these tough decisions.

A California Women with stage 4 gallbladder cancelled because company pulled out of California.

Not worthwhile under the ACA for companies with smaller pools of customers. Especially since ACA mandates coverages.

http://www.newsmax.com/US/california-obamacar...

When the this woman tried to use the California exchanges she found out they were so restrictive she couldn't use policy out of her county. Not state but COUNTY. She has doctors in several locations. Her current doctors will only take a policy issued out of county.

How is only being allowed to shop for anything in one county competition?

And California is being touted as a success by the leftists.
