I was just being treated with arava/leflunomide. My skin was clearing beautifully. Problem is the drug affected me seriuosly! My bowels have stopped completely. I have to take a large amount of laxatives everyday and stool softeners to keep from being completely miserable. So I cant leave the house much. Its a horrible drug that should be banned!

I have been on arava/leflunomide since November and it has really helped pain and swelling but I believe some of the symptons I'm having are due to this medication. Loss of hair, loose bowel and itching which has gotten really bad last couple weeks. I have stopped arava but still not positive if that is the cause. I think it is a dangerous medication.
