"Though they’re called doctors of chiropractic, professionals in his field aren’t licensed to dispense medicine — which suits Labau, whom we met in Friday’s column, just fine.“Taking a pain pill puts a blindfold on your brain,” he says.“You treat the symptom but not the cause.”"

It "suits him"? As if he has a choice.

Hard to imagine anyone in this day and age not admitting to the very real benefits of pain medications.

Then again, look at their actual clinical training.

Wisdom is not an MD. Don't take any of his 'medical' advice. It isn't worth a bucket of warm spit.

Placebo is an imbecile.
Chiropractic college entrance requirements vary some as do medical school, and dental school requirements.
Fact: There are over 300,000 practicing FOREIGN medical doctors in this country alone, many of these MD's went to medical schools that had very low matriculation requirements--some even from the Caribbean, where all you need is a heartbeat and a checkbook to get in. These folks are practicing here in this country right now.
It's no trick to pass the medical boards--anyone, even a foreign medical school flunky with a substandard education can study for a few weeks and pass it.
Like I said--placebo is an idiot. Now get back in that welfare line so I can support you. Oh, and bring along your whole family of cockroaches while you're at it. I saw over 50 patients today. I can afford to give a little away to welfare cockroaches.

ha ha ha ha You truly are delusional.

Entrance into medical schools is extremely competitive and only the very brightest and most accomplished are accepted.

Contrast that to the fact that anyone who completes the minimum required courses, even if they pass with C's, are guaranteed entrance into chiropractic school.

Other than those little facts ........

Note: Visiting an MD today is exactly like playing Russian Roulette. It isn't like 50 years ago when the US standards were high and consistent. With the influx of hundreds of thousands of foreign MD's, many who attended low standard medical schools, you're taking your life into your hands. Like I said, anyone with a heartbeat and checkbook can get into a foreign medical school. Many have and are practicing here today. Caribbean and Mexico medical schools are the worst. Many don't even take attendence--and their graduates are licensed to perform surgery on you. Good lord.

ha ha ha ha You truly are delusional.

Entrance into medical schools is extremely competitive and only the very brightest and most accomplished are accepted.

And of course, MDs have gone through rigorous didactic and clinical training, including MCATs, and board certifications. Including those who graduated from foreign medical schools, israel, france, italy, england etc etc.

Contrast that to the fact that anyone who completes the minimum required courses, even if they pass with C's, are guaranteed entrance into chiropractic school. Not to mention NO entrance testing requirements, then again, why would there be .... evryone gets in.

Says the chiropractor above, " bring along your whole family of cockroaches while you're at it."

More "professionalism" from our resident chiropractor.
