FDA warns of flu protection claims by supplement sellers

U.S. health regulators have sent letters to nine Internet distributors of dietary supplements warning them against making false claims about their products' ability to fight the flu.

Sounds like pharmaceutical industry involvement to increase profits by discouraging herbal products.

Or herbal product sellers exploiting desperate people. Some herbal products are owned by pharmaceutical companies. There is a problem with labelling, If I say "used by South American Indians to ease the symptoms of angina" that would be different from "will cure angina"

The death rate and cures from pharmaceutical products 43 much higher. Statin drugs and mind drugs are problem in the health and welfare of the society .that has a known history of medical destruction.
