It's true that pain in the joints, especially in the hips makes it hard to enjoy going around even in your own home. Most people would give anything just to be pain-free. This new solution is good to hear but the devices used for these surgeries must also be improved. There are many people who have had hip replacement but still experiencing hip problems. This looks promising. Hip replacement surgeries have been the refuge of too many people suffering from hip osteoarthritis. Although, relief has been offered, the complications linger such as inflammation, pain, and metal toxicity from some hip implant devices used. To know more, visit

Hi there,
Still haven't heard from anyone regarding the alternative method of dealing with hip and knee joints problems, i.e. Prolotherapy and PRP-both are non-invasive method to heal and alleviate the joints' problems, through ultra-sound guided injections. for more information visit a
Does anyone ever looked or familiar with these methods and what the experience is, if any at all with that. Are they really an answer with non-invasive approach when one hip sever osteoarthritis?

I had the anterior approach to total hip replacement on the 20th. Yup, 6 days ago! I did a LOT Of research on it, and decided this was most definitely the way to go. There is only 1 physician in my area that does it, and he does a LOT of them. You want to make sure you have an experienced surgeon who does only anterior replacements.
I went home from the hospital on day 3. Could have gone home day 2, but ended up needing a blood transfusion. I am moving around the house using a cane. Steps are pretty easy. Still achy and taking prescription pain pills several times daily, but cutting down on the dose and frequency.
I am also young for a total hip patient, I will be 58 on Friday. I've had hip pain for years but became pretty debilitating this summer when I decided I'd better find out what's going on. I had no idea I had severe osteoarthritis. My other hip is affected as well, so will be doing this surgery again in the not too distant future.

While this technique is not entirely new, it has been receiving favorable comments from doctors and patients. Recovery for the patient is expected to be faster and chances of complications are lower. Certain clinics have been getting much attention because of their new and innovative methods applied with the anterior hip surgery. But even with this, if a recipient was implanted with a DePuy ASR hip replacement, he may still be exposed to risks. More information about the failures of metal-on-metal hip implants such as the ASR hip systems may be avaialbe at DePuy ASR hip lawsuit information center.

To counter the pain that they are into, more and more people succumbed to hip replacement surgeries. Though it offers relief, complications do exist as well. Some of these are pain, inflammation, and metallosis or metal poisoning. If you want to know more about bone health and related injuries, there are articles that I bumped into at that may be of great help to you.

It's always a relief that technology is upgrading especially when it comes to medical technology. That despite of the tragic stories that people who have undergone failed hip implant surgeries are facing, still there's hope for other people who are still in dilemma whether to get one or not. The reason why people opt for hip replacement is to ease the pain they are experiencing, that they will able to do more physically. And these people are even willing to spend, and its just right that they will receive the best treatment that they deserve. To know more about modern hip replacement, check
