This is just more political posturing and class warfare by rethugs! Lawmakers that come up with these ridiculous ideas should be drug tested. They get government money don't they?

Some how it is o.k. to randomly drug test hard working people, embarrass them and destroy their careers and lives because they took a hit or two of pot at a party or were just unlucky enough to get a false positive but those who live off of the taxes paid by hard working people can sit around all day doing drugs and even the mention of drug testing them is racist, cruel and an invasion of their privacy and rights. I guess it is the same mind set that says we should take money from hard working people and give it to those who don't want to work.

People on welfare who will not or cannot support themselves should be drug tested randomly and if positive have to reimburse the cost of the test and be kicked off of welfare for 90 days before being allowed to reapply.
Alcohol and nicotine should also be tested for since people on welfare should be buying food and not those legal drugs.

Most of us don't waste our money on things like chocolate and candy, that's why there are so many obese Americans.

Many obese Mexicans and other latinos I see all the time spending my money at the grocery stores on everything unhealthy imagineable. I know many many are Mexican because I will talk with them while waiting in line. Totally freaks them out that a pale red head gringo speaks their language better than they do. I speak actual Spanish and not the gutteral version spoken in Mexico. I learned it while stationed in Spain in the 80s. I tried some of my Spanglish while there and the locals thought I was some peasant straight off the farm or an ex convict as that is how they talked there. Guess it fits that is what their former colonies speak. The exception in Mexico is the higher class Mexicans, of course.
