Reply: The Health Dept. is the one that fell down on the job. They are the one that gave the permit go figure all they wanted was the fee.
The health department approved the site for health and safety issues like ground water contamination and distance from the property boundaries but this was not even necessary for a family burial plot. Only required for a cemetery. I think he was misinformed by the county that he needed to apply to the city for a cemetery and did not realize it because his vision problems made it hard for him to read all the paperwork involved.

Property, leave him alone. I wouldn't want to be the man on the backhoe that goes in there.

It's already been done. He did it to keep the city @#^$# from touching her. The court hurried him so the picture of her body being exhumed could be placed below the headline of Parker Edminston becoming city judge. Looks suspicious to me.

He knew what he did was wrong, that's why he snuck around and did it at night. Some way to honor your dead wife
This may be late but your comment was so moronic and either you're a liar or ignorant
that I just couldn't ignore it. Davis buried his wife at 9 am April 23, 2009 on a Saturday morning. You do understand what a.m. means? After meridian. Do you know what that means? Can you discern daylight from dark? Have you got a clue what this case was about? Have you ever studied the Code of Alabama? Do you know what a Statute is? If I told you to look up Section 8-30-1(4) and 8-30-2 would you know where to look? Or understand what you read if you did stumble up on the dark. Do you wonder why the city of Stevenson has no jurisdiction over church cemeteries and family burial plots? Do you know what a family burial plot is? Have you ever put together a coherent thought and then successfully transferred it to print?'Snuck' is not a word. Do you know what the proper word would be? Educate yourself to the facts, do some research, take the time to come out of the dark and see what really happened. I could tell you but I have wearied myself of commenting on your comment. I feel better now and please don't take offense but of all the comments, yours has to be right at the top for 'no discernible scintillation of a semblance of fact.' Phew!
