hot brandy: alternative medicine

Brandy is a spirit produced by distilling wine (source: Wikipedia).
Popular brands of Brandy include Christian Brothers and Remy Martin.
Brandy can be used to flavor pies and apple dishes as well as soups.
Brandy has certain curative powers due to its steady reactivity. When mixed with milk (or tea and lemon juice) heated brandy produces a comforting blend that stimulates the senses while relaxing the nerves and body temperature.
Because brandy is an alcohol, its curative powers are less discussed but many moms and home remedy afficionados reach for a hot brandy-milk blend to soothe children's nausea and is in many ways as evening as medicinal hot rum and apple cider blends.
Do these sipping considerations reflect the everyday value of food-wholesome Hollywood (USA) movies such as "Soul Food" (1997)?
Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?
