It's important to raise as much awareness of Mirena's health risks as possible. The increasing amount of lawsuits filed against Bayer over Mirena is alarming and a testament to the potential danger to all women. Read more about it here at http://www.mirena-iud.net

Before women jump the gun after having the Mirena removed and blaming all their terrible symptoms on it. How about researching PMDD. After reading all the forums I was convinced everything that was wrong with me was due to the Mirena. Surely it must be considering thousands of other women where suffering like me and discussing it through forums. That was my excuse for so long. Must have been the Mirena!! After hundreds of tests and evaluations, I was treated for PMDD, and guess what, I feel much better. The Mirena was actually stopped the symptoms for years, and it wasn't until I had it removed that the symptoms returned. Hormones play a huge part in our moods, emotions and energy levels ladies. Seriously research it first. You would be surprised what you will actually discover if only you look outside the box, instead of blaming one thing for all your problems.
