The bad news? No one had fewer deaths than expected, although there were very few deaths from hip surgeries in the state to begin with and only one hospital in Central Florida had a mortality rate greater than zero percent, which was Orlando Regional Medical Center with a mortality rate of 0.20 percent.

These hospitals in the area should be commended and we hope that all other hospitals have the same impressive record. This is certainly very encouraging in light of the numerous complicatons suffered by many people due to product failures.
