Colombia is a very good option por plastic surgery and the prices are very very good, I had a good experience with Dr. Angela Guevara in Cali, I had breast and buttocks implants and I'm really happy, however my husband seems to be the happier one, she can be reached at dr_angelaguevara@yahoo.com
Good luck

This Dr. is a butcher! Just go read about her on www.plasticsurgeryjourneys.com and look at the butchered patients pictures in the gallery! "before and after" works for her and is not a real patient, just read about them on the website as well, they were just busted for posing as a patient! Say they are from TX, Bogota and now KS>

Here's an article regarding the affordable plastic surgery that you were saying.. "American patients can expect to save over 50% on some of their cosmetic surgery procedures when in Singapore. According to their price quotes, a face lift costing $20,000 in the United States would cost only $6,250 in Singapore, whereas a $7,300 nose job and $8,500 tummy tuck would cost $4,375 and $6,250 respectively." more of this article at http://www.body-philosophy.net/Medical_touris...

Hi my name is Donna, I'm 54, I want to relate my Plastic Surgery experience for all interested.
On march 2005 I had a Tummy Tuck (U$ 3,550) and Breast Augmentation (U$ 3,350) procedure done in Brazil with Dr.C, I've heard about his clinic and his work from some friends who've been there for Plastics as well and were very happy with the results.
He did an excellent job, I couldn't be happier, Dr. C is very skilled and I will never regret going to Brazil to have Plastics.
Due to the economy differences between Brazil and North America , Plastic Surgery is very affordable for middle class Americans.
I've did some price research in US before and then I realized that comming to Brazil for Plastics is less expensive, even with the added expense of a plane ticket, hotel and food, the quality of medical care is excellent.
If you need more info I'll be glad to answer all your questions about my experience.

I am a single mom and only 22. I had to have the Gastric By Pass when I was 17 and now I have a beautiful 10 month old and no body due to my surgery. When i was pregnant you couldnt tell because I already had the extra skin. Money is tight and I am looking for a way to have a good surgeon and an affordable price plus financing. I also would like to donate the skin to a burn unit and let someone who needs the extra I don't want have it. If anyone has ANY helpful suggestions I would really appreciate it because I want to look as beautiful on the outside as I feel on the inside. Thanks in advance Lish

You don't have to go overseas for your surgery if you think the prices are too high in the US.
If you want to save on your surgery, you should puchase the ebook "How to Save Money on Plastic, Cosmetic, and Reconstructive Surgery." You will save a lot of money on your surgery in the US if you use the information in the book.
I can't believe you encourage an ex-???? to sell her tips on how to save money on plastic surgery. What a rip-off and a joke.... Shane on you.

I cannot for the life of me see why anyone would go to another country to have plastic surgery. Congrats on your great experience, but me personally I just think it is crazy to go to another country when there are many, many well licensed american board certified plastic surgeon's right here in the united states..

While you save a lot of money going to another country for your surgery, I think that staying local is best, as you can enjoy post-surgery care from your doctor. Otherwise if you have a good 6 months or so to spend in another country, then I suppose that's ok too.

Make sure you check http://www.trustedsurgeons.com before going to a plastic surgeon here in the US. It's a great website for your research.

Best of luck to anyone who is thinking of doing surgery.

Hi I am looking for web links that contain consumer comment blogs pertaining to plastic surgery experiences abroad (ie. travel and surgery). I am not looking for doctor recommendations or doctor comments, just consumer experiences and opinions in blog format. Does anyone know of some links or sites that would help me?
Thank you.
