I've tried condoms made out of shark skin but I prefer to go bareback. It's not safe going bareback but I trust my boyfriend. And besides i would rather use sharkskin condoms than use sand as contraception.

<quoted text>Other than an allergy way are non latex good to use?? What do they do for her and I?? Maybe I will give them a try. If they are not latex what are they made from??
My boyfriend and I used ones made from poly-urathane (sp?). I personally couldnt stand latex, and the non-latex felt better for me. They are a bit more expensive, but back then, they were worth it for us. Well, until we decided not to use condoms anymore. lol

I am allergic to latex. but polyurethane condoms are too small for my boyfriend (he is average). I wrote the makers of the non-latex condoms (two different companies) and asked that they make them bigger. The polyurethane condom makers decided that they will not make condoms to fit men who are large. Then I found Lifestyles "Skyn" condoms. Very comfortable, non-latex polyisoprene condoms. The feel great, are not constrictive and actually fit (and stay on).

Why don't you just get on birth control if you're not going to wear a condom? Is it worth risking getting knocked up at the wrong time? jesus people protect yourselves for christs sakes! and about going bareback and trusting your bf...you can still have an std for a long period of time and not know it for years later so good luck in that dept. too...

i've tried one with my girlfriend and we both find it satisfying. its great, we can both feel the warmth and feels like there nothing in between. rather, at times a latex actually turns us off due to its rubbery smell

The only real reason non-latex condoms should be used is if your allergic to latex.

AS A LIFESTYLE, HEAD TO TOE, RUBBERIST, I LOVE LATEX CONDOMS. I WEAR THEM ALL THE TIME. I EVEN HAVE A CONDOM-HOOD I WEAR WITH MY SHINY, GLOSSY RUBBER CATSUIT. I WEAR CONDOMS ON MY HEAD FOR KINKY RUBBER FUN IN THE BEDROOM WITH MY RUBBERIST GIRLFRIEND. WHEN I AM FULLY RUBBERED UP WITH CATSUIT, THIGH BOOTS, ELBOW LENGTH GLOVES, RAINCOAT, AND CONDOM HOOD-THE ONLY THING MISSING IS A LOVELY LATEX RUBBER CONDOM!!!!!!!!!!

I have been using Trojan Supra micro sheer condoms for a few years now and they are great if the guy is average size, but if the guy is thick at all forget it, he will never get it on or practically turn blue getting it on, which it will then cut off the blood circulation to his penis and he can loose erection or it will be extremely uncomfortable.I wish they made bigger non latex condoms, it's so frustrating when you want to have sex and can't because the manufacturer says it cost too much to make them bigger.... so charge more, I would pay for them! I am very allergic to latex and lubricants. With the polyurethane condoms I can use organic coconut oil as a lubricant and it does not hurt me, thank God!

They don't make extra large ones....I don't understand why not. I have been hunting and hunting with no success. The regular ones won't fit.....we tried using them anyway and they hurt me because it didn't fit properly.

It's important to know that non-latex condoms are not FDA approved to protect against HIV and STDs. Since they are generally made from lambskin, there are micropores which allows viruses and bacteria to pass. If you have being using non-latex condoms, I suggest getting tested for STDs. A great service is www.getstdtested.com . They are discrete, quick, & confidential...I highly recommend it!

None Latex condoms are the worst, if you are currently using them I highly recommend that you stop this instance. That's 1 of the easiest way to contract an STD. The FDA does not approve those condoms so with that being said that should tell you they are not 100% safe, if any percentage safe. I definitely recommend that you get tested for STD's asap. http://stdtesting.com is a great company who's very cost effective & efficient. I use them all the time.
