The reason why l could not respect it ( apart from its call for violence to non-muslims) is that it contradicts the Gospels of the inspired Word of God. The Gospels are respected by the Followers of Christianity, and we are intelligent and educated people who have assessed and evaluated the Scriptures. It is arrogant of Muslims to attack and mock the Bible. In doing so, we as Christians are free and should be free to ridicule the Quran.
Muslims should realise that they don't hold the truth of what and who Jesus is on the basis of what the Quran says. And when we focus on the life of Mohammad, then we see that we can never follow a warlord and Sinner, and the contrast between Jesus and Mohammad is so polar opposites that it is natural for to know what the Truth of God is and God is the One who gave His Blood Offering to save instead of one who took life and terrorised people. It's true what Jesus says, that if we don't know him and follow his teachings and accept the Holy Spirit, then we are doomed to Hell.
It is not God who sends us to Hell, but when we are refuse to accept the end of the rope that is dangled down to us from God then we are rejecting the cord that links us to God and lifts us to Heaven when our body dies!
