Couldn't agree more, Kathy... to me, bashing is low and unethical.
I've always stood on the old saying that "A man/woman with an actual experience is NEVER at the mercy of a man/woman with merely an argument". You and I have both seemed to find our "perfect match" as far as docs... and that's awesome.
You see your doctor (Caldron) and are able to visit him personally and manage your weight due to his flexible hours... perfect!
I see my primary care doctors here and they are on board with my doctor (Gates) and I simply order my weightloss products from him in order to save money... also perfect!
If only everyone else in this world could get along like us LOL!!

Thought I'd pop back in on this discussion. I called Dr. Gates office Friday to give them the awesome news that I am now only 6 pounds away from my weight loss goal thanks to the B6, B12 Lipotropics injections as well as the LipoBC tablets that I've switched over to. The tablets are simply the oral form of the injections, so it's all still working in the same way.
Kathy... have you noticed that your hunger has changed? Mine has really become less simply by lowering my caloric intake, lots of water drinking, and of course the way the Lipotropics part of it all breaks down the fats and supports the liver while pushing all the junk out. I have energy to burn now... it's so cool!

Claudia... they run specials every month (right now I THINK it's their LipoBC Tablets... not sure). I know on their weightloss forum, they've had contests and quizzes where you'd get %off coupons but I don't think they're running one now.

That stuff really does not work when you are obese. It's good for people that need to lose 20lbs or less. I went to see Dr. Caldron and I wanted to be on lipotropics and he told me that I could notdue them because I needed to control my blood sugars and blood pressure first. He did allow me to do Optifast. I lost 59lbs so far in three months. He said the I could probably be on them once I drop 50 more lbs.

I've lost right at 30 pounds so far and am going for 10 more. It's been slow going because of my Thyroid, but Dr. Gates has kept encouraging me, and my local doctor that I go to is an Armour Thyroid advocate instead of the Synthroid (which did more harm than good). So between the two doctors, I'm seeing pretty awesome results.
I guess I've kept in the back of my mind that it didn't go on overnight, so it probably is going to take me some time to get it off (especially with the Thyroid hurdle to jump). I'm just thankful there are so many programs from coast to coast for people to try! No two people are the same, and what works for one might not work for another and so the choice (as long as it's safe and doctor-supervised) is good!

I wish ALL doctors would be as open minded as Drs. Caldron and Gates about Armour Thyroid! What IS it with the ones that are synthroid-only nuts? I felt like crud the whole time I was on it and now it's like I'm a totally different person. Armour has been around for years and is NOT going anywhere, no matter WHAT the drug reps from other companies may tell docs. Forrest is simply re-formulating the larger grain doses, and so the lower grain supply is strained right now... jeepers! I'm a major Armour advocate as well LOL!!!

Is this Armour Thyrois a prescription, or over the counter. I really need some help for my weight. My mom had a serious Tyroid problem, so does my sister (they want to remove it), and I think I do to... but the Drs won't help because I am not "bad" enough!

BUT, my weight is killing me... isn't that bad enough?:-(

It's a script. What some docs do is look at the TSH level ONLY which is a bogus deal. All the levels need to be considered. I was on Synthroid for months because my former doctor didn't believe in Armour... well, he does NOW... but he's also not my doctor anymore LOL! I think his jaw is STILL on the floor after seeing me and how well I'm doing now on Armour. Some people are simply hard-headed when it comes to change (and perks).

As B12 supports steady iron the under tongue or injections rule for low iron or low energy.
Nothing assists weight loss as magnesium. Also doctors find now simply that for super low energy, youthfulness receiving enough magnesium is still the best for an overall overnight improvement.

I just received my re-order so I can start my shots on the 1st again. I lost 20 pounds a year ago and it has stayed off and my energy personally was incredible. Every one is different I guess. I tried these injections and I had great results. The shot stung alittle but I felt great afterwards. Unfortunately I can't seem to find them. I emailed a friend of mine and if she gives me a heads up on where to buy, I'll share with you.
