New medications are always good to hear about. However, I am always wary of the side effects of such medication. Many Fosamax Lawsuits have been filed because of side effects of medication such as Fosamax. If more research can be done on the side effects of these new medications it would be great. See

This is great! Finally, a drug that assures that there will be no fracture after prolonged use unlike fosamax.

Osteoporosis is a terrible disease and we should find means of treating it as much as possible. Having more medical options other than bisphosphonates like Fosamax, is good for patients.

Bisphosphonate drugs, such as Fosamax, are usually used by both men and women as treatment for osteoporosis and other bone problems. For over the years, doctors have been prescribing the drug to millions of osteoporotic patients and a number of them have reported major side-effects such osteonecrosis of the jaw, which resulted to a mounting lawsuits. Osteonecrosis of the jaw develops when the jaw bone fails to heal after a minor injury for example, the type of injury sometimes caused by getting a tooth pulled.
