Stealing is a common word in Guyana except it is replaced by the creolese dialect ' theifing'. Stealing is a sinful act which needs to be addressed by these 'saints' we have for the critics and their masses.
It should be known that a popular columinst and lecturer was accused of 'book stealing ' in the late 60s. He stole the books from a library where those books would be easily read and borrowed. Now what about the property that is owned in turkeyen that this same columinst hid from the revenue authority , forcing the authorities to send him tax returns. Now why is this columinst not paying his taxes? Is he following his corrupt friends like Malcolm Harripaul, Ram, Ramesh Seebarran and many others who stash away their excess money to foreign banks, which in turn robs the country of revenues and prevent the country from developing at a satisfied rate.
