Venezuela invades Guyana's territory?? Thirty-six members of the Venezuelan military led by a general on Thursday morning invaded Guyana's land and airspace, blowing up two Guyanese mining dredges in the Cuyuni River and making overflights in two helicopters. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE TERM SOVEREIGNTY??.. the diplomatic way of dealing with such a problem is surely not bombing back Venezuela.. that would have led to more conflict ..at the point in time when this flabergasting event unfolded many were unaware of the reasons for such an act.. However Guyana is dependent on cordial relations with the country..since they do provide fuel to our country.. But I am not saying that we should let events like this slide.. no.. they were wrong.. but deal with the matter in a civil manner..
Diplomatically..which was done and cordial relations re-established.

Does not matter, the sovereight of Guyana was violated. What would Venezuela say if lets say, the Colombia did the same? The fact is that Venezuela´s Hugo is a power hungry despot. Mitta and Mitta Hitler want things diplomatically too and ended up plunging Europe into a WORLD WAR, not that Hugo would do the same, but you never know what he would do to ¨unify¨ South America.

When Hugo visited Guyana I told a very good friend in Guyana that Venezuela was going to make its move on Guyana before the end of Jagdeo term in office . What some of you jokers dont know is if you look at the new map of Venezuela you would see Essequibo is shown as part of that Country. How the hell can any one establish cordial relations after that act is beyond me. Lets see how the Gov is going to spin this one. Come on Jagdeo show some oooos and take a stand.

How can he take a stand..the security forces not capable of holding prisoners..they are all escaping..high level to low level. Guyana strength lies in it weakest link..how can they go up to an organised military force. Skinnyman,Fineman,Shortman are tipical example..local buxton gang . The whole security forces need to be reorganise.should not be one sided.

If we retaliate against Venezuela would only be adding fuel to the fire, I am not saying that they were right to blow up two Guyanese mining dredges in the Cuyuni River.
But the best way to settle this dispute is by talking between the two country, not to start a war like in India and Pakistan fighting for a piece of land (Kashmir).

And i reiterate the correct way of dealing with the matter was through discussion and negotiation, which was done as a conflict resolution strategy...and it was a success..
As common sense said... why add fuel to the fire? No need to get an army and bomb back.. it only complicates the matter more.. Rem.. the initiation of the bombing was unknown at first..doesn't make sense to act out of ignorance without getting to the bottom of the issue
