According to the Government Information Agency, thirteen communities were provided with food hampers worth over $3.8M during the period December 29, 2009 to January 4, 2010 by Projects Officers of the Ministry.
The Minister of Amerindian Affairs Pauline Sukhai and a team form the Ministry and Hinterland Coordinator have seen and empathize with these victims by providing something meaningful to the people. These hampers will some what help in whatever little possible way it could.

The government and his party are always there to help people in whatever little way they could whenever natural disasters take place. These little things people should look at to see the efforts our president makes in being a good leader to his people. These people are very much grateful for whatever little help they receiveĀ…others should join and start helping this particular situation before it becomes worse.
