This is a sad situation. My heart felt sympathy goes out to the family of the victims.
The spirit of this gun culture that is evading the land will continually hurt our nation.
When a minister of the government uses a gun to threaten the life of a public citizen and walks away without any form of disciplinary action, legal or otherwise, meted out to him, it sets a dangerous national precedent. After all, leaders lead.
My prayer is that all of Guyana will see the wisdom in fearlessly working together to rid all communities of guns and gun crimes. This is not something I think the government can do all by itself. Right now the government is too deeply involved in proving that their administration is better than the PNC. With such a mindset, lots of important national issues will either be ignored or will they receive biased or insufficient attention.
Name two national issues that the administration
should pay attention to .
What you wrote about the administration and the
PNC makes me feel that you are bias .And if you call yourself a pastor you shuold be more consern
and responsible about your ideas .
The government is trying all the means to develope
the country . We have Guyanese investor abroad
who have ideas and are willing to invest in our
country ,but they are afraid of the criminals
which the PNC protects and cover up . We should
not hunt down the criminals .

The only solution to the racial hate in Guyana is complete partition. An independent country for East Indians and Amerindians. That is the only solution.
We the South Asian people of Guyana cannot expect that a majority of blacks in Guyana will ever accept an Indian ruler ruling over them. Have the majority of us South Asians in Guyana ever accepted the fact that a black ruler ruled over us. There is too much hate and it is too late.
Right now the only people that can save us South Asians from slaughter are our Pathan, Tamil and Nepalese brothers and sisters. They have the technology and know how on how to deal with a well armed and funded racist genocidal movement bend on exterminating the South Asian from Guyana.
Without our Pathan, Tamil and Nepalese brothers and sisters helping us out we are in serious trouble. It is like Ghengis Khan vs Rambo
Cutlass vs AK-47 and M-16, M-60 rifle plus grenade. No chance for survival.
I don't hate anyone and respect all and love all cultures. If we South Asian people of Guyana had followed Mr. Rai. This racial genocide would have never occured.
This racist brute Rawlings has also killed many blacks in a very brutal way.
you need to go and live there, i'm a born guyanese and need no help. we have to solve our own problems. tough enforcement of the law.

I am all for Berbice seperating from the rest of the country. I am from Demerara, but would not hesitate to move to Berbice if such seperation was possible. Too long have Guyanese lived in a failed state under the oppression of the black minority with de facto support of the GDF and the police.

MY deepest sympathy towards all family members who have suffered losses of their relatives. Security arrangements have been upgraded, with Joint patrols and roadblocks being conducted in the city and on the East Coast of Demerara, while investigations into the incident are being conducted. The statement said the Joint Services will pursue and conduct robust operations in order to apprehend these criminals who are terrorizing our citizens. They are also calling on all members of the society to remain calm in the face of adversity and stability will return to the society.

After the Bartica massacre the number have increased to 22 lives. My deepest condolence goes out to the deceased family. In Guyana we must put aside racial and political element so that we can safe the lives of our Guyanese. The PPP is working on getting Guyana back on track and we must support them to our utmost so that we can make Guyana better.
