I suppose this country has a totalitarian government that is free from impeachable charges or the the populace has come to accept that level of corruption as part of their cultural fabric

This is the problem. People read a report, knows nothing about our history and judges us.

In the early 70ths, Oh my God I listened to a lot of shite people had to say about Guyana. How they laughed at us. In the 80ths we became a joke, things like: "when a Guyanese buys a newspaper it is not to read, no, he bought toilet paper, these people don't know toilet paper" I died many deaths, listening to jokes about Guyana. We had our glory days, nobody knows them now, frankly speaking I can't blame them, we are too sheeplike, we never as a nation stood up for or rights. We played dead, saw our funeral, did not like it and left.

Funny thing is, we went and live among nations with a strong sense of national pride and unity.

IF A DRUG DEALER WITH OVER 60 KILO OF COCAINE AND AN ILLEGAL FIRE ARM CAN GET SUSPENDED SENTENCE AND FINE. there should be no other debate, all happen under the PPPC govt,
a few days ago a man went to prison for 3years for having 1 gram marijuana and 1 gram of cocaine
it just tells us there are laws for the rich and powerful and separate laws for the poor.
