there are laws governing us Guyanese and what APNU needs to realize that they are not above the law. if you break it there's a penalty attached to it. And that's exactly what happened. so those idle protesters out there better know the law first and stop letting the APNU members brainwash them!

If PNC/APNU believe that they could shut the country down by ''mass''protest in Georgetown,then they are sadly mistaken. Georgetown is not Guyana. What action the police took and will take will surely be based on safety and security of the population and country as a whole. They swore allegiance to up hold the law.The rule of law must prevail. The supporters follow their leaders like sheep going to the slaughter,not knowing their fate. These supporters would be disappointed because they are blindly accepting orders from tired, worn out geriatrics, bankrupt of ideas. They make false promises, have nothing new to offer but destruction and despair.If the supporters of the govt in the agricultural belts across Guyana retaliated, then they can stifle Georgetown of fresh food. Such actions will run counter to the massive gains already made across the country even in areas where the PNC have a monopoly of the votes.The once sworn enemy of the PNC, Dr Roopnarine has now become so arrogant will find out not too long his destiny for aligning himself and the WPA to the much discredited PNC. He knows what happened to the UF when they collaborated with the PNC. The PNC will never change. Changing the name with the same people at the top is like changing the cask for the same wine. Everyone should have the right to free speech, Guyanese should rise up against oppression like the people in the middle east. no one should be shot at because he/she want to express his/her rights to freedom. Guyanese are being oppressed,rise up and fight against it'

It was an illegal march and they didnt want to adhere to the police and then they started to intimidate the police.After several warning to disperse.
