Apparently, Mr Cole believes firearms are only for hunting. Despite the fact that the 2nd Amendment doesn't mention hunting at all.

Interesting that the semi-automatic handgun (particularly the Glock 17) hates so much is the most widely used law enforcement weapon in the US.

considering he stabbed 3 frat brothers to death with I suppose a glock knife, I think glock should be forced to close its doors.

The Second Amendment doesn't mention selling firearms at all either.

The director of the Phoenix VA hospital where at least 40 military veterans died from delays received more than $9,000 in bonus pay in 2013, public records show.
Records also show the bonus was taken back.

PS: the Vets weren't killed by the delays.

Americans shouldn't be allowed to sell guns to complete strangers.

I know: You lie several times in one sentence, it must be required?

90 percent of Americans understand the need for universal back ground check.

Nine percent of Americans are felons.

Curious that ten percent of Americans think as you think...

33,000.

I see number crunches expect more people to die this year- or next- as a result of firearms than vehicles for the first time.

33,000.

Only if you don't read.

Or can't tell the truth.

Covers you well, eh?

The author of this article points to the correlation of gun ownership in the USA and gun fatalities.

It's isn't much of a revelation... as the US leads the world in both.

And observes that there is no real connection between large capacity magazines and real hunters.

""United States continues to be peculiar in handing out powerful magazine-fed firearms to almost anyone who wants one and not requiring background checks on private purchases even if these are made at gun shows. 80% of civilian-owned firearms world-wide are in the US, and only Yemen vaguely competes with us for rates of firearm ownership""

Yemen? Now that is a bedfellow we should be proud of?

Peculiar? Must be the understatement of the decade?

The only number that can be used to your position is the 8000+ gun homicides because justified shootings go directly against your position and the 20,000+ suicides don't help you either. Suicide by gun only accounts for 1/3 of all suicides so you can't say those people would not have committed suicide if they didn't use a gun.

Suicide Methods

In 2010, firearms were the most common method of death by suicide, accounting for a little more than half (50.6%) of all suicide deaths. The next most common methods were suffocation (including hangings) at 24.8% and poisoning at 17.3%
Happy to prove that you are a lying c*.

You're dumb and a liar.

2.4 million Americans die each year (6,700 per day).

Most die from sickness and disease. The next largest group die from accidental death, and most of those are from car crashes. The next largest group are from homicide, and most of those are not from guns (gun homicides are actually declining, contrary to what you claimed as fact):

GUNS WILL CAUSE THE FEWEST NUMBER OF DEATHS (making YOU the liar, again).

What's sad is: you think this made sense (put aside of course it is totally false).

And that you made some kind of snappy comeback...

BTW: guns don't cause deaths, the people who own the guns cause death, most of them intentionally.
