Our side doesn't need any help.

Gunnut is advocating the abolishment of all laws and enforcement of laws.

We are saying that the police have the right to search a home when they have a warrant to do so.

One of those two positions is rational.

No, that's not true. Your side avoids help.

[QUOTE who="BUTT NUGGET"]Gunnut is advocating the abolishment of all laws and enforcement of laws.
Not true!

He's very plainly stated that ALL anti-gun laws are patently unconstitutional. What don't YOU understand about 'Shall NOT be infringed?'

WRONG ANSWER!
The police have no such right.

If anything, the ONLY thing which they possess is the POWER to conduct a search upon presentment of a search warrant, and at no other time, save for those instances where there is a reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed, and where a life is immediately under threat.

Hell, I'm not even a U.S. citizen, and I know your law better than YOU!

Haven't you heard? Nuggins is a movie and TV writer (that's why he's here day in and day out). He has also admitted to talking to James Madison, and he doesn't like mentally retarded people. So you see who you are dealing with......someone that isn't all there.

Here's how nutty he is..he thinks I support rape, I have threatened him and I want to have sex with children. He has not proven any of his sick comments. I have asked him numerous times to pull those posts or any posts where those kind of statements have been made. He has not pulled any up....because they do not exist. The guy is mentally ill, he lives in a world of his own. And that world is the innernet, various topix forums to be precise.

You have the local liberals here that have attached themselves to him. I know they have probably come to regret it, they will not admit the guy Nuggin is not all there. Makes them look like a poor judge of who they side with. So they just suck it up and hope no one really notices what a loose canon this Nuggins is. Funny thing, they are not too far behind him, they just don't know it......yet.

And in the scenario we are discussing both those are the case.

They know that multiple crimes have been committed AND they have reasonable suspicion that the suspect is in the house AND they have reason to believe that he is planning on harming more people.

AND I still haven't seen any evidence which suggests that the police didn't have a search warrant.

What you and gunnut are advocating is that the police be blocked from arresting anyone ever regardless of circumstance. That's ridiculous.

They had NO "warrant", you back-peddling sycophant. They didn't even have reasonable suspicion. They violated the oaths they took, and proceeded to violate their citizens CONSTITUTIONALLY SECURED Rights.

Because history ABOUNDS with examples of government abuses against its own people?

I'm not the "nut" sycophant, >you< are.

The absolute historical fact is: Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. And the ONLY thing that keeps "power" in check. Is the FEAR of possible IMMEDIATE RETRIBUTION.

Your knowledge of history, even about the U.S., is NONEXISTENT. You and your sidekick both come across as communists, or socialists at best.

I didn't do that.

Can you prove that this is an example of that? Or are you just declaring it is because it fits your agenda to do so?

I laid out the scenario. You have not disproved any aspect of it.

You see, Marisa. You can't play both sides of this fence.

You are literally writing fake posts.

I've never done that. Not to you, not to anyone.

That's because, unlike you, I have integrity.

They OPENLY and BLATANTLY VIOLATED the Constitution on NATIONAL T.V.

I KNOW what my Constitution states. And NO rule-making, legislation, or court decisions can alter it. We The People are under no obligation to comply if they do. And, we have the inherent right of DESTROYING those that attempt it.

Once again, do you have evidence that they did not have a warrant? Or are you just ASSUMING that they did not have warrant because it fits your agenda?

This isn't a hard question.

You are making A LOT of declarations based on some assumption that you haven't proven.

Also, were any arrests made? Do you know that? If so, for what?

You integrity, I don't think so. What do you call altering my post? You took my post# 1305 and omitted words when you did post#1307. If you think that's honest you are even sicker then I thought.

You seem to forget thatn other eyes have seen what you have done by altering my posts

Your problem is that you don't like women that get in your face, that's why you lie about me. You think women should be barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen. I represent all the women that have rejected you. You have no wife, no girlfiend, and probably no job. So the best you can do is come here and try to boost your ego by lying about what and who you are.

The sooner you accept women as your equal the sooner you might find happiness....until then you will just continue on as a mentally ill chauvinist.

Just proving that nothing he posts is an original thought or even results from original research.

Of course they do. It's called "exigent circumstances."

Here, educate yourself...

----------

Exigent Circumstances: The presence of exigent circumstances will excuse the lack of a warrant. "Exigent Circumstances" are present, as a general rule, whenever there is no reasonable opportunity for the police officers to stop and take the time to get a search warrant.
-(See United States v. Ventresca (1965) 380 U.S. 102, 107 [13 L.Ed.2nd 684, 688].)

Rule: "[E]xigent circumstances are present when a reasonable person [would] believe that entry ... was necessary to prevent physical harm to the officers or other persons, the destruction of relevant evidence, the escape of the suspect, or some other consequence improperly frustrating legitimate law enforcement efforts."
-(United States v. Alaimalo (9th Cir, 2002) 313 F.3rd 1188, 1192-1193, quoting Bailey v. Newland (9th Cir. 2001) 263 F.3rd 1022, 1033; United States v. Brooks (9th Cir. 2004) 367 F.3rd 1128, 1133, fn. 5, & 1135.)

"We have defined ‘exigent circumstances' to include ‘an emergency situation requiring swift action to prevent imminent danger to life or serious damage to property ....'
-(People v. Ramey (1976) 16 Cal.3rd 263, 276 ...)

The action must be ‘prompted by the motive of preserving life or property and [must] reasonably appear to the actor to be necessary for that purpose.'
-(People v. Roberts (1956) 47 Cal.2nd 374, 377 ...)" (People v. Duncan (1986) 42 Cal.3rd 91, 97.)

"‘[E]xigent circumstances' means an emergency situation requiring swift action to prevent imminent danger to life or serious damage to property, or to forestall the imminent escape of a suspect or destruction of evidence."
-(People v. Panah (2005) 35 Cal.4th 395, 465.)
