Perfect. Let's talk Benghazi. You picked the topic, I'll let you pick the footage too.
YOU go find a clip of FoxNews coverage of Benghazi from around the time it happened.(same day, same week, same month).
Find the BEST clip you can and we'll talk about it.
Try to find something longer than 30 seconds and shorter than 30 min, just for both of our sanity.
There's no need to do that and I am not willing to search the many broadcasts of Benghazi to cherry pick one so you can say "See...someone raised questions about the administrations handling of the crisis" That is too obvious that the whole thing was a screw up. Hell you can just look at the current terriorist attack and how CNN blew it with the arrest of someone "Dark skinned" and it was never based on anything factual. So has CNN apoligized over it yet?

I'm not trying to convience you that FOX is better then what you watch...I dont have to because EVERYONE already knows it including the other stations.

The debate is whether you believe it or not and it's obvious that you don't and that is perfectly fine by me.

Really? That was just conspiracy theories and not based on facts. Also FOX doesn't need money for anyone they get their money from advertisements like the other stations and it has played out very well for them because they have the majority of viewers who watch FOX. Your politics are on the far fringes of your party so you have to agree with whatever is said on those other stations. You should post some legitimate sources on what you're claiming.
It is STAGGER how ignorant you are about this stuff.

FoxNews is owned Roger Ailes who is a part of the Conservative movement pushing for a decrease in taxes and oversight on the rich.

He could lose money on FoxNews and end up ahead by pushing an agenda which reduces his taxes.

However, he is fortunately that he actually makes money with FoxNews AND still pushes his agenda.

Meanwhile, commentators on FoxNews are regularly compensated by various Conservative groups which are funded through a few extremely wealthy individuals who, like Ailes, are trying to keep from paying taxes.

You seem to think that FoxNews is a business on its own. It's not.

Well that was ALL commentary, just as all the other station do. Do you critique them in the same way during their commentary? Or do you just agree with whatever they are saying? Many times they've put out misinformation and never retracted it or appoligized but AGAIN that was commentary not NEWS. The news you watch in commentary mixed in with news and that is NOT done with FOX which is probably why you didn't know the difference.
Can you present me with an example of what you call "commentary" the way I present YOU with an example.

Further, do you HONESTLY believe that Greta Van Sustrens show is meant to be taken as strictly commentary and not news? do you think that the majority of FoxNews views make that distinction?

Can you point to a show on FoxNews that is _NEWS_ only and not commentary?

The Daily show? Considering that Jon Stewart is a liberal then of course he would make fun of FOX.
Stewart makes fun of everyone. He just TORE CNN a new one 2-3 days ago. Absolutely destroyed them.
He cuts and pastes segments to make people laugh it's not news it comedy the only people who take that seriously are just idiots.
IT's not supposed to be news. What he does is show someone on Fox News make a claim and then show the SAME PERSON making the exact opposite claim.

Usually something like this:
O'Reilly circa Bush - "Anyone who disagrees with the President's foreign policy is a terrorist and should leave the country."
O'Reilly today - "What's with these democrats claiming we shouldn't question the President's foreign policy"

Stewart doesn't say they are being hypocrites. He SHOWS them being hypocrites.
FOX always shows both sides of the debate
Not even close. I've asked you for examples. Where are they?
It's just ashamed that the other stations don't do that because if they did then maybe FOX would have some competition.
Other stations are engaged in NEWS. Fox is engaged in propaganda. They aren't even close to the same thing.

Can't find a SINGLE example of FoxNews doing ACTUAL news.

Yet here you are claiming they are the only station doing it.

That should tell you something about your position.

Yes, CNN blew it. That's why _I_ posted that all networks need to stop trying to be first and start trying to be right.

CNN has corrected the errors it made, however it shouldn't have made those errors to begin with.

Even worse than CNN was the New York Post posting a picture of the _WRONG TWO PEOPLE_ claiming they were suspects. UNFORGIVABLE. And, they will likely pay in the millions for that error.

However, trying to be first and getting something wrong is different than deliberately misleading people by getting your news from GOP strategists.

FoxNews isn't making "mistakes". FoxNews is very deliberate.

Again, they CHANGED the party on the sex scandal from Republican to Democrat. Do you believe that FoxNews didn't know which party Foley was in?

You seem to be confused between the location of "Hollywood" and the entertainment industry.
You (and the other posters) have made some allegations that some children had sex "in Hollywood".
If you are talking about the location, I'm sure that's true as it is true for any urban area anywhere in the US.
If you are talking about the industry, I can only assume you are talking about specific events such as the famous case with Fatty Arbuckle or Roman Polanski. Of course, we're going back decades for either one of those.
If you have more recent events, let's hear about them.
But, keep in mind, the Catholic Church, as an industry, had molested THOUSANDS of children over the last few decades.
And one of you was actually trying to defend the Branch Davidians at one point. Another prime examples of sexual misconduct.
So, let's get down to specifics. I'll meet you case for case.
You go first.
You're the one who brought up Hollywood, all I did was ask a question. I didn't make any allegations either. Any confusion arising from my comment is entirely yours, dipshit.

Not all of the above but I would call Mr. Slate a taskmaster.
Come to think of it I never thought Joe Rockhead was much of a fire chief.

The poster was complaining about the other poster misspelling but got that word wrong in the complaint.

Actually, I didn't bring up Hollywood. I merely said I make movies.

And you clearly weren't able to distinguish between the place and the industry.

FOX absolutly is a business. Which is why they have advertisements. Roger Ailes is a conservative. Why would a conservative have both sides of an argument??? Why doesn't any of the other stations (MSNBC,CBS,CNN,ABC) have this?? That should really be your question! They are pushing an agenda and have been wrong or many, many accounts but you still continue to watch a one sided view of what they perceive the facts to be. The vast majority of his hypocrisies are just made up to make people laugh because he takes peoples statements out of context and there are always crazies to take it as the gospel. Just not credible.

No I'm not backing down from anything because there isn't anything to back away from. Their position is widely believe to be conservate just as the other stations (MSNBC,CNN,ABC,CBS) are liberal. There is no secret there and my position has been known for quite awhile. When there was no FOX news we were all spoon feed on what they wanted us to believe with ZERO counter voices and now that FOX news has come into the play it has totally dominated the other broadcasts because it offers both sides of an argument and that is something that the other stations have never done and they never will because they don't want the other side of the aisle to voice their facts. They all know this, they all know that unless they change then they will continue to keep losing money. Where else can you go to hear both sides of a debate other then FOX?? You can't!

FOX news does make mistakes. It happens to every news cast but the difference is that FOX NEWS appologizes for their mistakes and corrects their errors they don't continue to mislead the public after the known facts. You give all your stations a pass and yet you hold FOX to a different level. That is your own personal biased against FOX. Even after they appologized you still hold it against them, which is fine but you give all the other stations a pass while they continue to give you false news and you just keep accepting it without ever knowing the difference. It makes me wonder that when the facts of an argument are presented to you on both sides of an issue; do you just automatically choose the left?

First of all, the other networks DO have this. I've asked you to find me an example of a single news broadcast in which they don't. You won't even TRY to do that.

Second, Fox doesn't really have both sides of the issue. Like I pointed out with SoS Clinton and the blood clot, one side was accusing her of faking it. The _other_ side of that is not "maybe she's not faking it". The _other_ side of that is: "You people are delusional paranoids so hell bent on your own political agenda that you'll make up sh1t about someone who is in the hospital with a life threatening illness."

If I ran a news story about YOU that went: "He's been accused of molesting children. There's some evidence that suggests that that is the case. Or maybe it's not."

Is that "both sides"? Or are people going to come away from that thinking there is evidence that you are a child molester?
They are pushing an agenda and have been wrong or many, many accounts but you still continue to watch a one sided view of what they perceive the facts to be. Are you as critical on Fox as you are the other stations? Or do you just like your opinion being formed for you?
Again, GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE.

Not of a screw up like "dark skinned" or "police have a suspect in custody". That's erroneous reporting, not skewing something politically.

Some networks were saying Giffords died in the shooting in AZ. She didn't. That's a screw up, but it's not trying to swing opinion one way or another.

Give me an example of ANY network running ANY news story where they are NOT giving both sides (where both sides exist).

Obviously, "Earthquake in China kills 160" doesn't have two sides.
