Should the military revoked his access after they knew about his mental health issues? Possibly. BUt there is something else you need to keep in mind. If you make getting help for mental health issues a reason for pulling someone's access, do you think the people within the military who want mental health treatment may not come forward for fear of losing their clearance/access?
That clearance usually takes years to get, is what gives them job opportunities and such. If you start pulling access for mental health reason you only stop people from coming forward to get mental health help. You could say it is counter productive for what they are trying to do. Just something to think about before our emotions tell us to start pulling all access from anyone you think is crazy.
besides, anyone who truly wants help for a mental illness, even though in the armed forces, can seek it privately without going through the government.

Actually most Christians- like most Americans- support my right to marry my husband.
Though I give them points for that, it doesn't make them any less crazy to believe in magical sky-god creatures.
Most Americans DO NOT support you marrying your gay lovah. That's a lie based on fake polls.

Youre also a damn hypocrite, you claim its unconstitutional to deny you the "right" to marry and yet you criticize and condemn those who exercise their freedom of religion and their constitutional right to bear arms.

oh really, let's see you get a rocket launcher or RPG... how about a howitzer.... you know why no one uses them????? think real hard.. because they are not available...illegally or legally>>> THEY ARE BANNED... just like guns should be... so morons like you don't shoot their penis off and require a strap on...
Since the weapons you refer to are considered "destructive devices" they are not banned...just highly regulated. They fall into a completely different category than a firearm. So tell us why should guns be banned??? See if you can use your own words and not diane feinsteins or sarah brady's. Try real hard. And while you are at it tell us what else in your world would be banned.

so guns are not destructive??? interesting...

they fall into a completely different category?....that's right...the courts and legislators classified them...just as we can reclassify any guns into that category....we can leave you with a BB gun and a sling shot and a musket from the revolutionary period when the 2 nd amendment was written...

Oh, you mean those "fake polls" conducted last November at the voting booth in Washington, Maryland, Maine, & Minnesota?

I admit a the majority of Americans USED to be opposed to same-sex couples marrying, but times have changed an the opinions have changed. That's why we've won the last 4 votes on the issue and will likely win every future vote as well.

It is my constitutional right to criticize and condemn those who exercise their freedom of religion. In fact it's right there in the same amendment.

I've NEVER criticized a state for having an armed militia as allowed by the 2nd amendment.

Girlyman , the second amendment does not give the states the right to have a militia.

denying someone their right to equal protection under the law is more fundamental to civil rights than simple requirements on the sale and conditions of use of dangerous weapons or someone claiming their freedom to practice their religion is infringed by other people marrying.

you are correct...times are changing but people are inherently the same.

alternative lifestyles have never been accepted and never will; violence has always been and will always be. period.

anyone who thinks that passing countless new laws will change these two facts are delusional.

And yet the majority of voters have indeed approved equal marriage rights for same-sex couples in the last 4 votes on the issue.

I couldn't care less if you "accept" it or not.
