You are a liar.

Not only is there a gun show loophole, the gun show loop hole has been closed in several states.

And soon: with universal background checks, there will not be a gun show loophole.

<quoted text>Got proof?

Here's state by state proof;

"As Congress debates whether to toughen the nation’s gun laws, a study from Boston Children’s Hospital found that states with the highest number of gun laws have the lowest rate of gun deaths due to homicides and suicides.

The research, published online Wednesday in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine, analyzed gun laws in all 50 states as well as the total number of gun-related deaths in each state from 2007 through 2010. It found that fatality rates ranged from a high of 17.9 per 100,000 people in Louisiana -- a state among those with the fewest gun laws -- to a low of 2.9 per 100,000 in Hawaii, which ranks sixth for its number of gun restrictions. Massachusetts, which the researchers said has the most gun restrictions, had a gun fatality rate of 3.4 per 100,000."

http://www.boston.com/dailydose/2013/03/06/st...

" In the dozen or so states with the most gun control-related laws, far fewer people were shot to death or killed themselves with guns than in the states with the fewest laws, the study found. Overall, states with the most laws had a 42 percent lower gun death rate than states with the least number of laws."

http://news.yahoo.com/more-gun-laws-fewer-dea...

"The Harvard Injury Control Research Center assessed the literature on guns and homicide and found that there’s substantial evidence that indicates more guns means more murders. This holds true whether you’re looking at different countries or different state., Citations here."

"In a subsequent post, Healy drilled further into the numbers and looked at deaths due to assault in different regions of the country. Just as the United States is a clear outlier in the international context, the South is a clear outlier in the national context:"

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/...

Now put up or shut up!
That's the wrong subject matter for that study. In other words, it is not gun laws that are relevant to their findings. Three things are wrong with that study.
1. It publishes statistics based on a per 100,000 basis, which can make those statistics sound much worse than they are. For instance Alaska's numbers sound much worse than they are, because there are so few people. In fact, if Manhattan NY had the same population density as Alaska, there would be 42 people living there.
2. Race is completely left out of the study, most likely because they are scared of being labeled racist, despite publishing facts. Look at Louisiana. It was determined to have the highest gun related deaths. Louisiana also has the highest percentage of Blacks per capita of any state in the US.
3. The study looks at gun deaths per 100,000 people, not gun murders. Gun deaths include accidental shootings, suicides, and justifiable homicides.

we do, its the Modern liberal New Left progressive morons that want to rewrite the Gun Laws to benefit the criminals and why Conservatives are against changing them.

But all you gun nutters obviously ARE criminals, which is why you want assault rifles and 100 round magazines and hide your guns while out in public.
Yes, you gun nutters ARE the problem.
Why did you have to ruin it for everyone else?
Yes you gun Grabbing New Left progressive Liberals are the problem and are an Accessory to criminals by helping to write laws that are beneficial to the criminals which has beeen obivous and why there has been such an urgency to ban guns which the modern liberals are a threat to the United States and the US Constitution and you might as well declared war on the 2nd amendment and once the 2nd amendment and the US constitution is out of the way, the Great Social Change will come and not good and why the modern liberals take Vladimir Lenin words to heart.

One man with a gun can control 100 without one.

<quoted text>So we should just let felons & other criminals have guns because we can't prove beyond a doubt they will commit a crime with them?

Yep, typical gun nutter wanting criminals to have guns.

Conceal carry is cowardly or you wouldn't be tyring to hide the fact you're carrying a gun. That's why most criminals hide the guns they're carrying as well. At least you have that in common.

Not to mention it's stupid, since it's a lot harder to access a concealed weapon in an crisis than one which is open carried.

Not to mention when a criminal sees you carrying a gun they're more likely to go find an easier target. You're counting on the element of suprise when a criminal targets you; I prefer not to be targeted in the first place.
You Re so juvenile in your arguments. Please show where I said we should let felons carry guns because we can't prove they will commit a crime with it. It is already illegal for a felon to have a gun, unless he or she goes through the very stringent application process to regain that right.

You simply don't like concealed carry because you are a criminal, and want to know for sure if your potential victim is armed or not.

Are you absolutely sure of that? Let's have a contest then. You open carry. I will conceal my firearm. Let's see which of us can draw and be in firing position the quickest.

So criminals always make rational decisions right? They are cracked out and think clearly? What if they attempt to take your gun from its holster? That is when the struggle over the gun begins. Then, rather than a dead or detained criminal, the risk for collateral damage goes up.
