Senator Chris Murphy:
"Something is broken with our democracy when 90 percent of Americans think the people should get a background check before they buy a gun and we cannot get a vote in the United States Congress," said Murphy."
Maybe if Sen Murphy had a better idea of the form of Gov't we had, he would understand that it's a Democratic Republic that protects the rights of the minority from the abuses of the majority. It's NOT a "democracy".
