Here in Utah its simple,if your intoxicated and cant drive, your intoxicated and cant carry. Other than that, carry where you want. In fact, all those signs people like to put up in Ohio saying you cant carry on their property mean nothing here. You can safely ignore them. If they notice you are carrying, they can ask you to leave. Thats it.

Any law that limits concealed carry in certain places just makes those places a possible killing field. Law abiding gun owners will respect the law and the bad guys will take advatage of the near certainty that they wont encounter armed resistence.

What happened to the hundreds of comments that used to be in this thread?
Did the Anti-2A Editorial Superior Beings not like the way it was going?

Liberals all over know this is a losing debate for them and are conceding most of the argument to the pro-2nd Amendment majority of this country.

We have to stay strong, though. These pacified liberal pussies will spring up in the near future with their bullshit rhetoric. They always do. And we must beat them back. Again.

I don't go to any bars these days. There are enough illegal guns there to outweigh any legal CCW.

Paranoia, alcohol, and weaponry. No, I don't see any potential for problems there.

Where in "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." do you find the right to carry a gun everywhere you go.

Is it so you can defend yourself against the government in case they attack the bar in which you're drinking? Will you all rise up and form an instant militia to fight off the government attacks? Why does the government want to take over your bar anyway? Are they really that thirsty?

As you correctly stated the purpose of the 2d Amendment is so us ordinary folk can defend ourselves from a tyrannical Gov't. Frankly, the very first place we should carry is in any state capital building.

Any establishment that does not want guns inside can and will post a sign stating as such. Are you saying that an establishment that says it's ok to carry inside shouldn't be able to say that? Talk about paranoid, pricks like you don't mind if criminals go around armed, but here you are all paranoid at the thought of law-abiding, non criminals carrying with them the means to protect themselves from criminal attack. What are YOU afraid of?

Once again, liberals lose. 2nd Amendment rights have been and will continue to EXPAND in spite of your paranoia and liberal rhetoric.

I guess all the gangbangers will now attend the theater weekend evenings.
Look out Liberals, your voters will be attending your events. Bet you'll rethink your views when you have no conservatives protecting your elitist backsides.

And how many situations like developed this summer at the Indians game, where someone was killed over a parking spot. Just a CCW defending his 2nd amenment rights.

I don't see many "gangbangers" hanging out in the small, country town I live in. Just a bunch of rednecks determined to carry their guns with them wherever they go. Even when they go to tie one on at one of the local watering holes.

The right to carry a weapon to protect yourself from criminals is no where guaranteed by any Constitutional Amendment. That is why we have the police, as effective or inneffective as you may think they may be. It still does not change the fact of the Constitution.

Yes, I am the kind of prick who doesn't want pricks like you getting drunk with "Sweetness" strapped to your side. It's bad enough you hop into your pickup when you're wasted. How many people have to live in fear of you killing them in one night.

And how can people who so define themselves by the Constitution, be able to cherry pick the parts they like, and expand or contract the others. The reason anti-gun activists lose is because there are an awful lot of liberals who also carry guns and would prefer to keep it that way.

I realize I am in a minority. But then again, I also do not watch "American Idol" or listen to Lady Gaga, so I am used to being on the fringe of society.

I don't know if any of you are old enough to have watched "All in the Family" back in the 70's.

But there was an episode where Archie Bunker offers his solution to ending highjackings. He says it is simple, when each passenger is boarding the plane they are issued a handgun which they then return when departing the plane. The live audience roars with laughter.

I'm not laughing anymore.

Who would have thought Archie Bunker was actually a thinker ahead of his time?
