WHAT may I ask, can Paul McCartney bring to the "discussion"?
Celebrities should be more careful publishing their views and opinions on controversial subjects. The few intelligent ones understand that they can sway a lot of people, and do they really want that on their conscience? This is the epitome of hubris. And BTW, this goes double for foreigners. We don't need your shtinkin' opinion on domestic issues that are none of your business.

Paul,as well as Piers, really ought to delegate their opinions to their own nation..We have a Constitutional rite to Bear Arms..period..Against Tyranny, like Britain..finally ran them out.. So politically charged as you might be..zap what..boo hoo. Stay the help out of what is clesrly none of your buisness..Crime with no guns in England is very much higher.Guncontrol escalates Crime.
