You don't know what proof is dear.
Proof isn't you saying you are right.
Once again, punk, you're wrong. You strike me as the kind of guy that requires a CPA to certify fingers and toes on a person. Too bad, everyone ELSE knows I dropkicked you through the goalposts of realization yet again. Aren't you getting tired of resorting to homosexual ennuendos and infantile denial as your only weapons?

LMAO! That may very well be. It doesn't change the fact that solar and wind power are nowhere near as efficient as Oil related products and natural gas. Nowhere have I said Solar and wind power will not produce energy. You simply ignore the efficiency part of my statement. Then cast some insults for good measure.
Who do you think owns most of our US debt? While everyone is worried about the Mexican illegals, guess what's happening with Chinese imigrant numbers?
Wind and solar energy are far, far more efficient than fossil fuel, in fact they are super efficient when compared. Fossil fuel, when used in a combustion engine loses 50 % of its energy as heat. Also, the lengthy process of extracting fossil fuel, transporting it and refining it is an incredibly wasteful process adding to its inefficiency, not to mention the pollutants the entire process puts in the atmosphere. What you probably meant to say is that fossil fuels are extremely energy-dense as opposed to renewables which are energy-diffuse.
Just to remind you shortsighted wingnuz morons of the Rocky Mountain Institute that designed a house more that 30 years ago that used 1/10th the amount of energy an ordinary home used. They have continued to lead the way in promoting energy efficiency, but run up against ignorant and misinformed people on the right who clearly lack both the imagination to see the world any different than it was in ‘their prime’, and who choose to rehash old thinking instead of exploring the edges of possibility. Remember the IBM executive who said there would maybe be a demand for 6 or 8 computers in the world – that is conservative thinking!

The sun is good for another two billion years.

You told us that oil runs out in 40 years.

Putting aside you are more full of cr@p than a Thanksgiving turkey and won't admit you are wrong even when it's crammed up your boyfriend's favorite spot...

<quoted text>Well yes I do suppose oil is forming as we speak. The unanswered question is, how long will it take? I don't have that answer.
Until somebody (not me, that isn't my forte)has an answer to the question, why not seek alternative sources?
Wouldn't it be better to help clean the air, than to continue to polute it?
And just what does any of this have to do with gun control?
On that subject, as with any other, if you don't like it, don't have one.
Personally, I ain't giving up mine for anything.
Lol. I guess you missed the part about it forming daily for centuries. Meaning, it's going to take a long time, but it has been forming for a long time.

Regardless, you obviously learned nothing from Obama's investment of our money in alternative energy, which went bust. Why? It's not efficient. The cost of purchase, installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement, outweigh the savings.

Once again, barefoot makes a fool of itself. This post led barefoot to believe it was ME who stated oil will run out in 40 years:

Every expert on the subject has stated that oil WILL run out in the next 40 yrs.
Even if it does take longer it will be gone. Then what ya gonna do?
But that doesn't have anything to do with guns does it?
You present a lie. Where do you think oil comes from? Do you think more is not forming as we speak? Centuries of decomposition of organic matter is continuing at this very moment.
Present more lies, and call those who have facts on their side, clueless.
How Libertarian of you, liberal.

I just posted SEVERAL stories that we have enough oil to last us two centuries. Don't worry about running out of oil. We've been through this before when Nixon was President. It was a lie then and it's a lie now.
What can replace oil? What can make cars move, trains move, trucks move, airplanes move besides oil? There is no alternative. And if you say electricity, then think about what it would take to produce that much electricity.
good point. Electric motors are good, poweer to size is better too, in smaller HP ratings. But you need a nuclear generator just to go fishing.
I think that wind and solar should be used more, along with hydro to power our homes and non industrial business, Not oil.
Trains are actually electric, with diesel generators.
You can easily get 200 HP from a 180 C I gas motor, and I miss the sound of normally aspirated motors anyway.

Have you noticed how our gov is wanting to have us more and more like Eurpoe?
High speed trains that no one will use.'smart' cars that virtually will not need drivers?
