Is Hydraulic Fracking the new “49er’s gold rush” using hydraulic mining in the Sierra Nevada? It was banned in 1884, but the damage had already been done (google “hydraulic mining”). The most innovative people on the planet want to achieve energy independence with fossil fuels – a caveman’s dream? America needs to achieve energy independence through technology and innovation the idea of digging something out of the ground and burn it, well any dumb mofo could do that. We need to lead the rest of the world away from fossil fuels and position ourselves on top of a new and greener industry. The cost of the Gdub Iraq-aggression is $4 trillion without any gain that we know off. Just think, had he spent it on green-energy research we just may have freed ourselves from under the yoke of fossil fuel!? Most of the ground-work has already been done, for example, on super-high-capacity, lightweight battery systems or the Generation IV reactors (Gen IV), very small nuclear power plants capable of burning our much maligned nuclear waste.

Huh? The U.S. is importing 41% of its oil under the Obama administration, down from 65% in 2009 when Gdub left office.
But you claimed before everything happening under Obama was Georges fault. Why give Obama credit now? Whose fault is it that gas is higher now than under George? Maybe we import less because we can afford less.

There is no substitution for oil. It doesn't exist. There is nothing more plentiful, more powerful, less expensive than oil and oil based fuel.
You actually are clueless aren't you?
Every expert on the subject has stated that oil WILL run out in the next 40 yrs.
Even if it does take longer it will be gone. Then what ya gonna do?
But that doesn't have anything to do with guns does it?

The problem is that everybody thinks they need to run their mouth about something. Whether they understand it or not. One must look at a problem from an un-emotional standpoint. Not the knee jerk reactions of a few.
ex: a while ago a black woman in S.C stated that we needed a law to keep black kids from killing each other.
did she not know that there is such a law? Several by the way.
Murder, 1st,2nd, 3rd degree.
Manslaughter, same above.
just a fewc ....

Also, you never fail to be wrong: Bush Vs. Obama On Gasoline Prices In One Very Simple Picture
Update, September 11, 2012: my new article on gas prices looks at Bush’s entire presidency (average price $2.14/gal) and his first four years (average price $1.68/gal) to DOCUMENT that he was FAR BETTER at gas prices than was Obama thus far in his first four years (average price $2.99/gal). Please read it too.

Update, September 4, 2012: Given that liberals are genuinely idiotic people, it is apparently necessary to point out that the article and the accompanying chart that I cite below was compiled in March of 2011. How long had Obama been president as of March of 2011? If you do the math, you will find that March 2011 occurred 26 months into Obama’s presidency. Which is to point out that every single liberal who has bitched about my “cherry picking data” is an astonishingly idiotic dumbass. The Heritage article that I cite below compares the first 26 months of Obama’s gas prices – which was all they had available in March 2011 – with the EXACT SAME PERIOD DURING BUSH’S PRESIDENCY. http://search.yahoo.com.wordpress.com/2012/02...

Bill Ayers: Obama should be tried for war crimes
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57589932/...
"..."Every president in this century should be put on trial," Ayers said. "Every one of them goes into office -- an office dripping with blood -- and then adds to it. And, yes, I think that these are war crimes. I think that they're acts of terror."..."

Based on the claim and your support of Ayers alone, we should put Romney and McCain on trial as well. After all, they're already tarnished before taking office.
Yeah

Oh, right. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida to name a few can all thank bushie boy for Macondo.

And we can thank BP for trying to push the gulf coast 'food' after spewing 5M barrels of oil a day for what? 4 months?

You're already permitted son. Even Bakken is being drilled, which is why some small towns now have big city problems...

"..“Oil shale is the fools’ gold of the petroleum industry,” says Randy Udall, an energy expert and son of politician Mo Udall.“We’ve been trying to do this for 100 years and everyone who has tried to produce oil shale has lost their shirt and broken their pick.”

Udall is one of many people who believe oil shale will never pay off.“Oil shale is kind of a mirage on the highway,” he says.“As you approach it, it recedes further and further away from you. I compare it to pulling the sword from the stone.”..."
